Worked out great for my papaya salad
Kiwi Pro Slice Peeler. Love it! I bought this specifically for green papaya salad. This was recommended by a food influencer Thai chef for green papaya salad. I could not find this anywhere in my Asian market, and we have many here!It did come out, like long grated papayas chips; but if you grate over and over on one spot you will get nice julienne slices. However, I actually liked the chipped-julienne slices because it was able to pick up the sauce much better. Look at my papaya salad picture, it looks great and tasted yummy!! Yes, there were papaya chips but it really looks fine and still chewable!It does take time to grate but this grater makes the process very fast! Next time I make a salad, I am going to cut several places into the papaya then grate? At first I was bothered about the long chips; however , Once you put all the other ingredients like tomatoes and green beans etc, the chips looks fine next to the julienne slices!Very happy with this product! The quality is sturdy. Sharp. Easy to hold. Lightweight and fits comfortably in my hands. And, Easy to clean! I’m so glad I ordered this grater! I can use it for other vegetables, too!

This is the gadget for Thai Green Papaya salad
Quick shipment. I like that it’s made in Thailand, designed specifically for papaya shaving/julienning. Works easily. Was able to shred one large papaya as shown in my photo in no time. As some reviews noted, it is sharp and will clog intermittently but that is to be expected esp as you get to the end of the papaya and it’s easy to clear. The other complaint about the handle being small or best for people with small hands. I am an Asian female (5’3″, 130 lbs) with small, delicate hands so I can’t complain. However, this Kiwi peeler is about the same size as a basic Oxo vegetable peeler. If you don’t want a big gadget or spend more money on another kitchen tool, and if the only reason you want this is to make papaya salad, then this fits the bill!

Easy to use, great rippling effect on the fruit or vegetables. Great for adding shredded carrots or apples to a salad. Drag across a stick of butter to quicken the softening process. The handle size is appropriate. Kids might like the look of the produce it is used on, which could encouraging eating more fruits or vegetables.

Cerca de dois anos atrás eu assisti um vídeo de arroz frito tailandês, e para enfeitar o prato, usaram pepinos iguais os que reproduzi na foto.Durante esse tempo, eu comprei vários descascadores para tentar reproduzir o mesmo corte e nenhum era tão eficiente quanto esse da marca Kiwi.Finalmente consegui descobrir que o descascador era de uma marca tailandesa e que a Amazon vendia aqui no Brasil.Eu amei e estou muito satisfeita, ele é muito efetivo e os legumes ficam lindos 💚🥒

Bei uns gibt es regelmäßig den Thaiiländischen Papayasalat und da ist das ein tolles Hilfsmittel.Das Messer ist scharf und lässt sich auch gut reinigen.
