This is a great food processor, with helpful attachments. Very easy to use and easy to clean up. The base is sturdy, but much lighter than I imagined it would be. Consumer Bargain provided a refurbished model that was spotless — totally clean, no blemishes, working perfectly. They even updated the product serial number to reflect that it is a refurb. Shipping was very quick through USPS Priority Mail, so I received it the week I ordered it, and it came well-packed in a box within the shipping box. Completely satisfied.

Great refurbished food processor
This was a steal! I’ve used it more and more since I got it and it is fast becoming one of my favorite appliances. It does everything I’ve needed it to do and the two different cups it came with are extremely handy. It came with everything that was listed as included on a new listing and everything was in excellent condition. I love that it came with a holder for all the blades. Super convenient. It’s powerful and I want to try to do some nut butters in it, but just haven’t had the time. It also stores well under the cabinet.

This works GREAT! It’s quiet and powerful. Easy to clean. It’s a much larger food processor than I’ve had in the past, and I love that it can hammer through a block of cheese so quickly & easily. That’s not to say that cheese won’t clog up – it’s the nature of the beast – but it’s not nearly as bad as my older, less powerful machine did. Everything is dishwasher safe I believe (I hope! Since I’ve been putting it in there!). I’d definitely buy again, but I doubt I’ll have to – this thing is the bomb!

Disappointing for a KitchenAid Product
I bought this food processor refurbished less than a year and a half ago from when this review is written. This was bought to replace another KitchenAid food processor that I have owned and used for almost 18 years. The mixing bowl of the old had finally cracked through and as it was long-discontinued, I was unable to get a bowl replacement.Firstly, the old processor had a die cast base, and this one is made of plastic and felt flimsy. Though less sturdy, it was stable enough when in use. And itâs food processor functions were fine and as expected.However, there is a fundamental design flaw. The bowl and lid are dishwasher top shelf-safe. But donât do it!! Food particles from a wash cycle were able to get into nooks and crannies of the bowl and lid locking mechanisms, and there is no way to properly clean them – the cavities are not reachable with any pipe or bottle cleaners.KitchenAid should have either remove the dishwasher-safe claim, or design a food preparation product that does not have cavities and pockets that cannot be cleaned.No matter how long I soak the bowl and lid in soapy water or vinegar and water, I was not able get rid of all the gunk in the cavities.Hand washing would have prevented the problem, and I would have hand washed them exclusively if the label did not claim it to be dishwasher-safe.This problem has been identified by many on YouTube.

This refurbished food processor looks brand new and has a complete set of accessories. The only complaint I can think of is that when shredding carrots, the last part of the carrot remains a chunk wedged above the shredding disk.

Only used this a couple times but like it so far. Havent even begun to use it to all it capabilities. Was a great price since it was refurbished, was a little worried buying it for that reason but its presentation was so well packaged and looked brand new so you never would of known it was refurbished. Hoping it lasts! Have a smaller one that I use more often than this larger one. Got this because I can alot and this will make the processing time go buy a little more quickly. Dont think you can go wrong with the size and price!
