Excellent Toaster
We purchased this toaster to replace our existing one that died. I love the look of this toaster, the bagel setting changes the heat coils to only toast one side – which I like. This does a great job toasting homemade bread! Perfect for us!

It does bagels the right way!!
I looked for a new toaster for a while and was going to go with the Cuisinart brand but after watching video reviews many said the same thing about the bagel function. Basically that it was useless because both sides of the heating element get hot instead of just the inside ones which is no different than toasting bread.BUT WAIT! Then I found the lovely Kitchenaid model here and much to my surprise and pleasure it has the bagel function AND it actually performs correctly. I was sold. Got it yesterday, immediately tried it and I am so happy with this purchase. It also fits nicely under my cabinet so Iâm not taking up extra counter space when itâs not being used.10/10 recommend.

Toasts good but toaster lever needs to be easier to use
Like it but is a bit sensitive. The only thing Iâm not crazy about is the effort need to push down the toaster button. I feel like I have to push it down too hard and too far to engage the toasting feature.

Piece of Junk
I have owned this toaster for 1 year 3 months. My previous Kitchen Aid toaster was a work horse and lasted 10 years… that said, the new ones leave a lot to be desired…Pros: nice styling, wide slots for bagels, cancel button, etc. features that most toasters haveCons: does NOT toast evenly on each side, after 1 year the handle that depresses the toast fails to stay down. Wouldn’t you know the warranty is for 1 year. Very dissatisfied.
