Take about 2 1/2 – 3 mins to boil water. This one has the matte finish so it doesn’t show finger prints. Good buy, I know what I’m getting my kids next Christmas

Adjustable Temperature!
I like that this kettle is the same size as its predecessor that I loved so much. I searched for that model but couldnât find it. It was $40 less than this one and offered more! My last kettle just one day would not climb above 31 degrees. I am the only one that has used it. I have no idea what happened.I ordered this model and realized it is built so much cheaper in quality than the last one. The lid feels like a cheap tin can. The pot itself is very thin. I donât expect it to last over 11 years like my last model.The last model in the second picture with the window lit up, hands down is a much better kettle. It offers 30 additional minutes to keep your water hot. This one once the water heats, it produces one tone and goes off. My other one would keep beeping to let you know it was ready, in case you missed it. Itâs a nice tone to the new one but it sounds off only once.They both have the window so you can see the amount of water in the kettle but the old one is lighted while the new one isnât as shown in picture 4.The power on and off is on the lid on the old one. On the new one, there is a small power button on the base you press on and off. The new one does have a temperature control to heat your water at a desired temperature but truly if it isnât all the way up then I donât like the temperature. I tried at a lower temperature and wasnât pleased!I recommend it because there arenât any better options by KitchenAid left. It is attractive and it functions fast!Iâll adapt!

Love the adjustable temp features!
Much quieter than my last kettle, and more sleek and streamlined. Love that the temps are adjustable. Of course, this matches all my other red kitchenaid items perfectly. Just be careful not to touch the body (it’s metal) after it’s heated.

Full of plastic that is in contact with hot water
This is “Verified Return”. Facts:(1) all plastics are not good for you (health-wise)(2) plastics break down and seep into food when exposed to high temperatures and food(3) this kettle is full of plastics that contacts hot water. Broken down strands seep into water as it is “food” (you will consume it as tea)I highlighted in pictures all plastic-y parts that get into contact with water. How … one has to be to sell (reasonably) upscale kettle that will help your kids contract cancer? Even filter and spout are made of plastic, to guarantee that you will have “plastics infused tea”. Manufacturers, please make simple all-metal kettles. We (consumers) will pay premium for it.I did not even cut the cord “safety zip-tie” — there is no way this product touches my kitchen.

My first electric kettle. Really like the temperature control. Quick. Spout has a thin tip on the end and Iâm also going to try to do pour-over coffee without a gooseneck. Not a 5 star as I donât know how well the matte black finish will hold up.
