Every kitchen should have one of these long tweezers.
I am happy to have these 12″ long tweezers in my kitchen. Every household should have at least one pair. They are a tool which, though not used every day, are the only tool that will do certain jobs, usually utilitarian things like reaching things that have fallen down between the refrigerator and the cabinet or removing items that are clogging up the garbage disposal — really any job that requires an effective gripping tool that needs to fit into a tight space. They are great for turning items while they are cooking that are too small for regular tongs, both on the stovetop and in the oven, and for getting that last pickle or olive out of the giant jar. These are the longest ones I have ever had and they are very good looking with their dark stainless finish. I had a pair of 10″ ones that I am now able to turn over to my husband for his garage mechanical and craft work, as he was always taking them anyway for myriad uses of his own. He is using them today to fix my car’s windshield washers.

I love these so much
I know that these are intended for plating and making things looks nice but I use these for everything. These are great for turning meat, like if you are making stir fry or fried rice. I use them for bacon a lot.When I make fried rice I use them to scramble the egg in the pan and to turn the chicken. Basically anytime you need to grab something more precisely than what you can get with tongs.I first saw these on another website where they are sold for $35. I never bought them because that seems too expensive for what these are. The price on this set is very reasonable and I will be getting a few of these.

Tips are 3/16 inch wide – easy to control for food placement and many crafts such as beading.
They are easy to control – for me the sweet spot was to press together about 7 inches from the tips. The ends are 3/16 inch wide – a little wider than I had guessed they would be from the images (which don’t mention width so it’s just my perception).I can easily and quickly pick up small jewelry beads. It would also work well for decorating cookies with edible candy eyes and so forth.

Love the strength of this item, perfect for grabbing pieces of meat or even eating food using them like chopsticks. The metal quality really shows. Has a good weight and doesn’t feel cheap at all. You’ll be pleased.
