Perfect flipper for pancakes
I make pancakes every day for my kids and they like them on the larger size, which makes it hard to flip without breaking/slopping, particularly as I add banana/choc chips and use the Kodiak powercakes mix which makes for an overall heftier pancake. I wanted a wide spatula and this was my third attempt at finding a good one. Others either melted, or were not wide enough. This is 6â across and not overly pliable, so very easy to get under the pancake and flip easily on to the same place on the pan or griddle. 5 stars for utility. Havenât had it long so canât speak to durability yet, but so far so great!

Awesome pancake spatula
I bought this to replace my wide spatula I typically use for pancakes. However I like this one better because of the quality of the silicone. Itâs kind of soft and yet it does the job. And itâs dishwasher safe! Yay!

Sturdy wide silicone spatula. I love the color & shape. I knocked off one star because it came in outrageously excessive packaging. The heavy box & inner board that the spatula was attached was environmentally offensive. Probably not fair to downgrade a product for its packaging. I do like the spatula. Flexible and feels comfortable.

I was replacing all my black silicone/plasticware ( before I found out that I probably neednât have bothered). Most sets didnât include a spatula wide enough to flip larger pancakesâespecially heavier blueberry pancakes! This one worked well, and itâs pretty to boot.

We’ve recently read about health issues relating to black plastic cooking utensils so we’ve replaced them all with colored silicone utensils. Our initial change was a full set of utensils, however the wide turner included in that set was pretty thick and even though it had a beveled edge it didn’t work well getting it under either fried eggs or under a cooking omelet when it was time to flip the whole things over.We picked this flipper after looking through several on Amazon, reading other reviews, and picking one that was fairly wide yet not too wide to fit on the bottom of the smaller non-stick pans we use when cooking fried eggs or omelets.I was very happy to find that this turner was perfect for the job and know we’ll use it for years to come.
