So far, really good!
I have been struggling trying to find a good can opener. I have developed arthritis in my hands and manual can openers cause me a great deal of pain. I don’t have enough room on my counters to house an electric can opener and they are not particularly attractive anyway. I purchased a different battery operated can opener from Amazon about 6 months ago and although it was a little wonky, it worked until it simply died for no reason. I looked at reviews on Amazon for this can opener and others, and reviews from other cooking sites because I simply had to replace the one that died. After reading the Amazon reviews, I had some concerns about this one, but on other sites, this was definitely a top pick, so despite the cost and mixed Amazon reviews, I decided to give it a try. It’s larger than the other battery operated one I had previously but better balanced and has a much smoother operation. It fits easily into my kitchen drawer. It does a great job on medium and small cans, but I have not had an opportunity to try it on large or really small (tomato paste) cans. I expect it will work fine with those as well. The previous battery operated can opener I used had a sharp blade that would cut into the label so you had to pick little bits of label out of the contents. I’m so happy this does not do that! It seems to have a really good opening mechanism. Some reviews complained it was too slow. I have not found that at all. Some reviews complained that you had to use a Dremel or something to modify the battery compartment to allow them to connect. I did not find that at all, and the batteries pop in tightly but without trouble. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase and grateful for the ease of operation. I hope it will last longer than 6 months, unlike the other. We will see.

Best I ever had
This auto can opener is the best! So simple and easy to use. No more straining to open any size can. Current can openers that take up so much room on the counter or under cabinet. Fits in my drawer nicely with the silverware tray in there with it. Quiet, simple and no more searching for a plug in. Open a can anywhere. Take it camping or on the go. Fits in a medium purse or small bag. Runs on batteries so use it on the go. Takes the entire lid right off. No cuts. Great for recycling your cans and lids. There are other brands but this one was take out of pkg, put in batteries and Viola! Buying every family member one for Christmas. This is the brand to have. Works the best.

It is excellent. Exactly as described. Does not require any effort at all. The can opener takes care of it all itself. The design and engineering has been very well thought through. It is a delight as it opens a can with the best efficiency you could think of, very cleanly and safely, and within no time.

Effortless Perfection
I didnât think this chunky thing would work this great. Itâs heavy, pricey and uses batteries but it works flawlessly. All you do is set it in top, press the button and it does its magic. The can lid came off so smooth. No jagged edges at all. No more cutting your fingers. Itâs so safe I would let a child use it under supervision. Only thing is I wish it was rechargeable and didnât require so many batteries.

Easy to use on all sizes of cans
Arrived fast, packaged well with no damage. Easy to insert batteries. Easy to use. I have used it several times on different sized cans (ie: the small tomato paste can, soup can, etc.). It opened each can with no problems. Once it goes around the lid, you have to press the top button and it then reverses then stops. Much easier than my old can opener.

Super easy and reliable!
I absolutely love the device so much, I got rid of my can openers. I bought this item when it was on sale after reading countless positive reviews. The item is small, well built and works flawlessly. Just line it up with the edge of the can, push the on button, wait as it spins around the top of the can and voila the can is opened. No sharp or rough edges. I am so happy with this purchase that I am buying more of them to give as christmas gifts. If you have any elderly friends or family who might have difficulty opening cans, in my humble opinion, I think this would be worth considering as a gift.I bought the simple basic device in the white color and although there are upgraded versions, my basic device suits me just fine. There is also an assortment of cool colors to select from.

Works great with good batteries in it.
Opens a can simply and easy with no sharp edges. It is very helpful for those who have arthritis or any hand pain that makes a regular can opener difficult.

Appears to work but could use explicit instructions
When it did not seem to work properly, I complained and wrote to the company, and they were very responsive to my questions and concerns. I think most of the problem was that the instructions and/or manual was not clear enough. Therefore I couldn’t get it to clearly open a can. I would now advise the company to be explicit about the surprises a customer might experience straight up, and up front. It DOES work in a way very different from what we’re used to in can openers. In any case, when I saw a video of a person’s hands using the product, and actually lifting the lid, I saw it actually did work. By then we’d begun to return and refund. If I were to buy it again, I think I’d like a corded model rather than battery power.I 1st wrote: Would have liked it if it worked, but it did NOT open a can 1st time I used it…etc., etc.If you purchase this, find the how-to video as I think that will help you see how it works!

This machine works flawlessly every time and leaves a clean edge so I don’t risk getting cut. I can’t use a manual can opener anymore due to tendonitis. It’s easy to use and I think a good value for money.
