How long does it take
It’s very nice set. The power cord and instruction manual was missing.Once set up I waited and watched for at least an hour and I never once saw the automatic sharpener work.They appear to be very sharp. I wish I had known it was not a good idea to use them to trim my toenails. That was probably in manual.They look very good in my kitchen. They seemed out of place on my bedroom nightstand so I moved them.Did I mention they looked good and are very sharp and pointy. I forgot to mention pointy.They are nice. I recommend buying them. My wife told me to say you needed bandages if your husband is like hers.

Great starter set
Iâve owned this knife set for about 2-2.5 years now, and they have held steady! Gorgeous design, and have remained sharp enough all this time, I never have any issues when cooking. I am, however, upgrading to a new stainless steel set now because the paint on these knives have started coming off, and the paint gets into the food and that is yucky. But, this is a great set for the price and I definitely recommend it, 5 stars as a starter set!

Mismatched high/low quality set
Gorgeous hammered look, and very sturdy full+tang knives. Handles and curve details are very nice. However, the scissors are worthless. Also I’d prefer a matching wood handle on the knife sharpener rod rather than the black plastic, which we all should avoid to black plastic toxicity. Further, the wood block seems cheaply stained. A higher-quality stain would prevent knife re-insertion Knicks and wearing over time. Also, all the pieces are crowded. It’s nice that it doesn’t take up s lot of counter space, but you hafta be extra careful when removing/reinserting the knives. I tossed the scissors and I’m ordering higher-quality, stainless steel and wood handle shears and sharpening block. Afterwards, it’ll be COMPLETE ð

These are great, cut great, but looked a little cheap after they arrived. The knife handles are NOT wooden as though they appear.

These knives came sharp out of the box, which was a plus! Aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean, hand wash as suggested. My previous knife set was the Amazon basic, they got to the point of sharpen before every use, so this set really takes the cake. The weight is amazing and they slice like butter.
