Are they cheap? Yes. But are they sharp? ALSO, YES.I bought these to have a cheap knife set at work primarily for the chef’s knife. I didn’t care too much how good or bad they were, just cheap and sheathed.To my surprise they are some of – if not THE sharpest knives I’ve ever used!They’re so good, I’m buying a set for my dad, for Christmas. My dad won’t care about them being cheap, and he needs a decent chef’s knife.I absolutely love these. The only issue I’ve had is when I cut cheese (not like that) with the utility knife. The blade shifted slightly in the plastic handle because of the pressure I was using. So I would not use these for something hard or dense (cheese, whole potato, sweet potato, etc). But they are absolutely so perfect for cutting other vegetables, fruits, meats, etc.I loved the knife set I bought for at home (Emojoy brand) and thought THOSE were sharp, and these are still sharper.
