Awesome cutlery
Has the damascus look without having to do damascus care. The knives absolutely decimate everything I’ve thrown at them. I haven’t tried chopping bones. The magnetic block is pretty cool and makes for great pictures. I made the mistake of putting an in-use knife on the block and got blood all over it. It looks pretty gory when you got a bunch of sharp objects still bleeding and dripping. Make sure to clean the knives off before putting them on the magnetic block. The base is thin and uses suction cups to keep planted which means you could probably suspend it off of a smooth undersurface.

I’ve mounted so many knives in so many kitchens in so many racks… This one works too. If it works for your needs, it’s a quality knife rack. It doesn’t necessarily fit into my current kitchen setup, but it’d probably work great in the restaurant I work at. It looks nice, it’s sturdy & it’s easy to keep clean. Everything else is up to you.

A wonderful set of knives!
I can’t really find a lot of bad things to say about these knives. The Damascus style etching on the blades is subtle but well done. The overall feel is very solid from tip to butt and I appreciate the full tang. You can hold these with two fingers mid handle and a flick of the spine will make them ring like a pitchfork. The weight is satisfying and the balance point is right where it should be on a good knife. The wood grain handle on this set is flawless and smooth. They’re quite sharp out of the box and the thinnest of cuts are easy. The display stand is robust and simple, with small concealed suction cups underneath to keep it in place while removing a knife. It is also magnetic on both sides, giving a convenient way to store your steak knives out of a block or drawer if you choose. My only dislike so far is the logo and the way it distracts from the blade finish, but this is easily resolved by turning everything around as it is only on one side of each piece. Very pleased!

I got this mainly for the steel block, which met all my expectations. The magnets are in the correct places to hold all my knives in place and the included knives are definitely usable.
