I have used Swing-Away manual can openers since the early ’50’s. I have never had a problem with them and my new one is no exception. Does the job excellently and causes no problems. Very easy to use. I highly recommend it, very good value.

Old Reliable Manual Can Opener
I have used a lot of these – this design and brand is best. Efficiently and reliably opens cans. I like that the can lid can be pressed against the contents to facilitate draining. These are stainless steel so won’t generally rust. They last 3 to 5 years , longer if you can sharpen them.
