Kingstonâs Forks & Spoons
So I have a kitchen that has everything, but for years now, itâs irked me that my everyday silverware doesnât match each other. I have 4 of fork A, 7 of fork B and 2 of fork C, etc., and the same goes for spoons â so I decided to replace them all.I ordered the Kingstone forks and spoons (the dinner forks and spoons shown in the pictures), and here are my first impressions.The forks are quite sleek and beautiful in design. These arenât expensive âspecial dinnerâ forks; theyâre also not priced as such so all I care about is for everyday family usage or casual family dinners.THE FORKS:The handles are pretty because theyâre so slim, but in turn, theyâre not going to be as comfortable as wider-handled utensils. I donât hold onto forks for a long time or for any manual labor, so that wonât affect me at all.But I did stare at these for awhile, contemplating returning them, because compared to the Kingstone spoons, theyâre soâ¦.light. Itâs not an entirely bad thing for them to be light and heavy utensils are not actually desirable for everyday use, but compared to the spoons of the same model, and compared to my current collection of forks â feel a bit waify.Ultimately, I decided to keep them. I tried bending them using normal pressure and theyâre sturdy; thatâs good enough. They go so nicely with the spoons that it was best to keep them together as a set.THE SPOONS:The spoons are FABULOUS. The weight is so balanced on these and they feel solid. Iâd not be surprised if they cost 5x what these do. They have identical handles but for spoon gripping, theyâre perfect. The depth of the spoon is normal and the finish is beautiful. (I hope the finish stays like this.)Very sleek. Very demure. Haha.OVERALL:I like that they come in a set of 16. I rarely have more than 10 guests at one time, but as my current selection of utensils indicate, these things somehow disappear one-by-one, so an extra six is good.All that said, I recommend them.Amazon wonât let me review these forks and spoons separately, so let me clarify what rating Iâd give these: Iâd give the spoons 5-stars but for the forks, solely due to the slight lack of weight, Iâd say they are a solid 4-stars.Also note that these are NOT expensive utensils. For the price, these are AMAZING. Iâm buying them expecting a few good years out of them at best, though Iâd not be surprised if they last much longer.I just got these so I canât comment on longevity, but if they rust or begin peeling off after some usage â Iâll update my review.

beautiful, but simple
I needed to have additional forks on-hand, so I was lucky to find these. The style is very simple, but they are just what I wanted. The weight is very hefty for a fork, and you can tell this is quality stainless steel. If I need additional forks, I will get these again.

They seemed like good spoons for the less than 10 seconds I looked at it. These are Soup spoons or Big spoons in a standard silverware set. I wanted a dinner spoon aka a teaspoon or the small spoon in a silverware set.

Sturdy, and they fit into all of the flatware slots in my dishwasher.
The flatware tray in my dishwasher has slots of two different sizes. Most of my forks barely fit into the larger ones. These forks are heavy, feel good in the hand, and easy to fit into the dishwasher. Long-handled too, which is nice.
