Better than Zwilling & Henckels
I took back a set of Zwilling Porterhouse Steak Knives because they were too dull (couldn’t even cut a tomato without squishing it) and bought this Kingstone set which is much sharper. The long blades on the Kingstone are thinner (making it easier to slice through fruits and vegetables), yet not too thin. Note that the blade is only serrated/sharpened on one side which isn’t ideal for straight cuts. The metal handles have a good feel in the hand, and I like that there are no rivets (the rivets corroded away on our old Henckels set). When sitting them down on any surface the curved handle causes the tip of the blade to touch the surface, so personally I would have preferred a more rectangular grip. Interestingly, the Kingstone knives are also lighter weight than I would have expected by looking at them. I have not experienced any rust spots.

Mighty Fine!
I’ve gotten previous so-called expensive steak knives only to be disappointed because as soon as it comes out of the dishwasher, they just have pesky rust spots everywhere. NOT with these Kingstone knives! Finally a product that’s worthy. I had it washed and tested. Sliced through a piece of meat effortlessly and boy, was it SHARP! And yes it checks all the boxes of 1, no rust after it comes out the dishwasher, 2 sharp as heck and 3, very solid and luxurious looking knives that are molded in one piece of metal which I love. These might be considered pricy in today’s inflation but if you want quality knives that not only look good enough for special events but are sharp, then don’t hesitate!

I am a long time user of Rada cutlery so it was difficult for me to take the plunge and try something different. I decided not to sink a lot into my purchase. I found these very reasonably priced knives and they are wonderful.. Dishwasher safe, cuts well and still looking great. Definitely a compliment to my table.
