Awesome toaster!
This was pricey but we are really pleased with our purchase. This is the Cadillac of toasters with many features I didn’t know existed such as “raise check” which works perfectly, raising the toast for a quick peak then resuming the count down. The count down is great so you’ll know how long your toast will take and it’s extremely easy to change settings. Just hit the lighter/darker button to set your toasting level which ranges from 1 to 9 to set your perfect level of toasting for your bread, bagel, or English muffin. The “toast” button automatically lowers and begins toasting. There’s a bagel setting which toasts just the top side of your bagel AND it has wide toasting slots, no more cramming a bagel into the toaster!Not only does it have awesome features but it looks great, too, very sleek, not at all like your typical toaster. The “toast” button allows greater options for placement of the toaster, it’s easy to access the controls even if turned sideways.We are very pleased with this purchase.

smart update for a toaster!
This Kenmore 4 Long toaster has been a great new addition to our kitchen. We love the option to check progress and avoid burned toast as we learn the differences in settings with this new toaster but the option to use only the front toaster section is our favorite new feature = Energy savings. It easily fits large sour dough bread slices, bulky bagels and odd sized Nann bread. It is surprisingly lighter weight and not too big for the counter. Usually not fans of extra electronics, we are very happy with this updated, smart toaster and are so impressed with the 5 year warranty.

FYI this is a pretty large toaster, and the “stadium seating” style of slots raises it up pretty high. So I don’t use it right under my cabinets as I worry it might overheat their undersides. So that’s a downside. That said, I like it this toaster a lot.Some of the features I like: 1. Has a front slot only button, if you only want to make one slice, it is more energy efficient than turning on both slots. 2. Retractable cord. Since I keep it unplugged when I’m not using it, it’s easy to keep the counter free of dangling cords. And I only need to pull it out enough to get it to the outlet. 3. Life and check button. Not every bread toasts at the same rate, so it’s nice to check if you’re using something new.Seems to toast pretty evenly and well. I usually use 3 or 4 setting.One weird thing, one of the buttons is a dupe of another, rather than the correct label. Its odd, and now we know what it is supposed to be, not an issue, but a zonk nonetheless for quality control. See pictures.

I’ve been looking for this perfect toaster for years. From all the fine tuning controls on the front (thank you) to the quiet descent, retractable cord, I could go on and on. A little more then I would usually spend, but it has all the features and more I’ve been looking for… I hope it has a long life!

Looks great, but sounds loud that won’t turn off in our model
Just got this toaster today (purchased with Christmas gift $$ thanks grandmas!) Looks gorgeous (although seems to attract finger prints that don’t wipe away easily), has great functions, but very loud beeping sounds cannot be turned off in the toaster we received. We followed the instructions for turning off the beeps, but nothing changes. The beeping continues. Bummed, really excited about the features on this toaster. But the damn beeping is too much for us. We’re seeking a refund/return.

A six day love affair
This toaster arrived 6 days ago, to replace a snail-paced wahl toaster that took 8 minutes to inconsistently toast bread. The Wahl was just another player in the game of âFind the Perfect Toaster.â My family has been going through a couple toasters a year, which all offered toast that ranged from half toasted/half burnt, bottom raw/top burnt, various patterns of toasted/burnt/raw, and often taking too long to do it. Last Sunday I excitedly unpacked this beautiful beast and ran it through a couple cycles to burn off any unwanted particles. The next morning I offered it bread for my familyâs breakfast. This Kenmore smoothly and quietly lowered the different types of bread, told me how long before it would be done, and when the timer ended, evenly golden toast gracefully rose to a height that allowed me to easily remove. It was bliss. After the third day, the front slot toaster offered gold on only one side of the bread but I still adored this sexy beast so flipped my bread around and asked it again to make gold. Today, day six, I asked too much of it when I followed the new routine of flipping and re-lowering the bread, which it did, before it gave up the ghost, still clutching my half-toasted bread in the lower position. No amount of sweet talking or reminiscing of our intense love affair could breathe life back into him. The disappointment is heavy. I had dreamt of spending the rest of his days adoring the quiet levers and golden products, and swore that if that life were only a year, I would purchase a sibling toaster to keep the passion going, but, alas, 6 days is not enough to build that friendship necessary for longevity. I may exchange it for a sibling but I suspect I will have to go back to the Find a Perfect Toaster game again.
This is the 2nd time we have had one. The last one lasted about 15 yrsThe only thing to complain about is that you canât take turn the beeper OFF when the toast pops up. We tried 2.ð¤
