knife is ok, sheath is really weird
The knife is not sharp. I had to resharpen it on a diamond sharpener, then ceramics and finally a pull-through just to get a fair level of sharpness. Really strange sheath.

Purchased this in Dec. 2022. Knife reminds me of a large Old Tymer Sharpfinger but way larger. So far Its been used to punch holes in a steel drum used as a burn barrel. I’d say use this in any situation that requires a cheap tough knife. I’ve ordered 2 more since my 1st purchase ans will get a few more before summer gets here.

Be careful when you handle this knife. It is very sharp. The sheath holds the knife upside down and shaking it. Knife will not fall out. You have to really pull to free the knife.

I like that it’s compact size for an e.d.c. also you can switch it with the bolts so that it’s horizontal on my belt and puts up higher for great concealment or lower if needed below belt. I have mine on left side of center belt loop concealed horizontally quick access with right hand, it locks back inplace safely friends have taken notice of it and really like the setup. I enjoy having something different out of the norm

Honestly, for what you pay for, it’s a good knife. It is on the cheap side, so if you’re looking for a premium knife that will last a long time, look elsewhere.That said, for the price, it’s good. First of all, it’s quite sharp right out of the box. Secondly, it has a very nice and attractive design. Another nice bonus is that it fits perfectly into the holster.Since it is a cheap knife, there are questions about its durability. The knife itself is sturdy, given its thickness, but it could eventually break with heavy use out in a camping environment.On the other side of things, I sliced through some cardboard and some onions in the kitchen, and it definitely has good edge on it.I recommend this knife to those just looking for a good, cheap camping knife – though serious knife enthusiasts may want to look elsewhere. Itâs designed to put on your belt or backpack. The knife snaps in the sheath when you put it in so itâs not falling out. The knife it self is sharp right out of the box with a excellent and very sharp point. It has a full tang which is a must for me and knifes because it makes knifes so much more durable and safer. The tang means the metal if the knife is one solid piece that runs all the way down throw the handle. The handle is made out of the same hard plastic that the sheath is made out of.Overall a very solid well made knife and sheath. Should last a long time.I would recommend this

It’s vastly outperformed by others at the same price
Pros: it looks cool…ish. It’s cheap enough to be disposable, and considering its construction and overall quality, it will become disposable whether you want it to or not. It cuts, and would be really useful for any light tasks where you don’t expect to save the blade. The kydex sheath is quite nice. I like how it’s not just a belt clip on the back, but a full pocket or boot fan.Cons: everything else. The steel is not good. It feels and sounds like it never saw heat treating at all. The black coating is meant to hide the low quality and finish of the steel, as it always does on these coated blades. As you use it, that coating will wear away and reveal the horrible finish, which will only look like the results of whatever damage caused the wear, thereby hiding the problems. The handle scales feel cheap, and will not likely stand up to much use. The cutting edge is only just sharp enough to cut taut plastic, but it’s pretty dull. It needs sharpening, but its shape makes it really hard to sharpen. The thin tip will break off first, and I won’t be surprised.Verdict: if you want a disposable tacti-cool knife you can stow inside your black lace-up military surplus boots while wearing black tacti-cool clothes and gear, and you don’t care if you lose it while using it as a backup when your tactical shovel fails, get this. If you want an inexpensive, reliable blade at around the same price point (actually a dollar or two less) that will last you for the rest of your life, get a Mora Craftline Robust. I can’t give this one or two stars because it does deliver an actual cutting edge and doesn’t cost too muchâplus I seem to have a weakness for cheap bladesâbut it can’t get more than three stars because it just fails at everything else.
