Way cool toaster
I love the touch screen display look. Makes a toaster look modern. Works well. I learned that this is a great small appliance manufacturer from Belgium.

Oh, Your Toaster Doesnât Have A Color Touchscreen⦠Thatâs Adorable
I, like pretty much everyone I suppose, was interested in this toaster for ONE reason⦠the super cool user interface. Thereâs just no denying that controlling the toaster via an iPhone-like color touchscreen is pretty darn cool. And beyond that, the touchscreen interface works really well too. It doesnât stutter/lag, and it hasnât completely frozen or anything like that. However, with all of that said, the toaster itself doesnât yield the best results Iâve ever seen. I mean, it does do a pretty good job, but I would like it to toast things a little more evenly. The toaster I received leaves noticeably darker/lighter areas on sliced bread. The difference in shades isnât vast, but itâs a big enough difference to be a little bit annoying. So, I think the bottom line with this toaster is that itâs weighted slightly more towards form than function. But, overall, I am still pretty happy with this toaster. Especially when you consider the fact that the price for this touchscreen toaster is quite reasonable when compared to other touchscreen toasters on the market. So, if youâre looking for a touchscreen toaster, I think this one is definitely worth considering. If you have any questions about this Kalorik touchscreen toaster, please feel free to ask, and I’ll try my best to answer. I hope you found this review helpful.

A bit pricey, it works well
Been using this toaster for about two weeks now and itâs been working quite well. As some others have noted, the coils on the inside wall of the toaster donât turn red or get as hot as the outside, but the bread still comes out toasted at least as well as my old toaster oven – prob better actually. Itâs very simple to use and pretty well thought out. My kids, 7 and 5, LOVE that they can use it and see exactly what to expect from which setting. My seven year old is using the favorites setting because she likes the colored hearts – which I think is a bit gimmicky- but has its uses.My five year old did burn his finger badly enough to blister when, standing on the floor and unable to see the top, reached his hand up and touched it – while I was there next to him showing him how to use it – but quicker than I could react, so please donât think this is kid safe. Its not. Itâs a real toaster and gets quite hot along the top, though there is a warning symbol right there telling you it gets hot.So this is not to blame the toaster in any way – that was purely a learning experience for my son – but to warn that it should still be used with caution. It definitely fits square shaped bread better, and toasting something like rye or round bakery bread will have a third of the bread sticking out the top.Though it does offer a number of options for bread, it doesnât cover everything and you canât add anything yourself. But thatâs where the favorites come in. Itâs great that you can select from fresh or frozen bread, and really nice that it has a reheat function if your toast has gotten cold.As for the screen and tech, I do wish that it was WiFi or Bluetooth enabled, soley for the reason of updating firmware and adding future functionality, as I donât see much need to control a toaster from an app. But as an example, for the screensaver it allows you to choose between a digital or analogue clock. Having young kids I chose digital, and set the time correctly. I happened to walk by later that day around lunch time, and noticed that the screensaver time said 12:32 AM, despite the time being set correctly for PM. In the scheme of things a very minor mistake, but one that will be there forever because there is no way to update the firmware. So the screensaver is now set to analogue. No biggie.Lastly the toaster looks mint, and having a toaster with a Digital Touch screen is just cool – completely unnecessary – but cool. The question becomes, is this really cool feature worth spending $100 on, when you could get essentially the same thing with dial controls for $30â¦?Idk 𤷠– I like having it, my kids love it, and it works well. But there are a few more steps involved in toasting then just turning a dial and pulling a lever, and more electronics means more parts to fail down the road. So if you want those features and the price doesnât phase you, this is certainly a worthy contender.

Toaster itself seem ok
Toaster seem ok just doesnât do the timer the right way to make the bread toasted brown you have to repeatedly to get it right

This Toaster’s Got More Tech Than My Truck: A Review of the Kalorik VIVID TOUCH
Now, I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not exactly a tech whiz. Give me a sturdy hammer and a well-worn toolbox over a fancy gadget any day. But when my old toaster finally kicked the bucket, I figured it was time for an upgrade. That’s how I ended up with this Kalorik VIVID TOUCH toaster, and let me tell you, this thing is something else.First off, it looks like it belongs in a spaceship, not on my kitchen counter. The stainless steel finish is sleek, and that big touchscreen is unlike anything I’ve ever seen on a toaster. It took me a minute to figure out how to work it â I felt like I needed an instruction manual just to make toast! But once I got the hang of it, I was pretty impressed. The touchscreen lets you choose from different bread types, like white, whole wheat, or bagels, and it adjusts the toasting time accordingly. You can even customize the settings to get your toast exactly how you like it. I’m a simple guy, so I usually just stick with the basic settings, but it’s nice to have the options. The wide slots are a big plus. They easily fit thicker slices of bread or even bagels, which is great because I love a good toasted bagel with my morning coffee. And the high-lift lever makes it easy to grab smaller items without burning my fingers. Now, here’s the thing that bugs me: the touchscreen. It’s a cool feature, don’t get me wrong, but it’s also a fingerprint magnet. I find myself wiping it down constantly, which gets a bit annoying. And sometimes, it’s a little too sensitive. I’ve accidentally changed the settings a few times just by brushing against it.Overall, this Kalorik toaster is a solid piece of equipment. It toasts bread evenly, it’s got some cool features, and it looks pretty darn good on my counter. But I can’t help but think that maybe, just maybe, a toaster doesn’t need to be this complicated. Sometimes, a simple dial and a lever are all you need.
