First off, I really appreciate that these are sold in a set of six, because usually you can only find sets of four, and when you have more than just a couple guests over, it’s nice to be able to have matching dinnerware for everyone. But that aside, these are just gorgeous. They look like they fit into both a modern dining set as well as a more traditional one, and the simple shapes really speak for themselves. Since swapping in these dishes, we’ve gotten a few comments from our guests about how nice they are.Packaging was superb. The box arrived at our house with not a single scratch, crack, or chip. The protective layers on the inside were pretty excessive, but that’s honestly a better option than risking it with delivery people.There are two small negatives that knock this down a bit, but I should note that these are both fairly subjective – if you don’t see these as negative, you can see this as five stars. The first is that these have more of a matte finish than I prefer. It means the texture feels a bit “dry” (for lack of a better word) compared to a more glossed surface. Second, these are surprisingly heavy. For example, the bowls are about the same dimensions as a set of bowls we were replacing, but these weighed about 50% more. It’s not a huge deal, but it does make it more awkward to hold if you’re grabbing multiple dishes or holding them for long periods of time.

Scratches VERY easily!
I loved the color and look of these dishes, and was so excited to use them. But after just one meal, the surfaces was permanently scratched by my silverware and worsened with each meal! They do not look good anymore. Also, if you have any sensitivity to the sound of scraping on dishes, do not buy!!! It is so loud and screechy. I have a slight sensitivity to this sound on most dishes, but with these dishes, itâs unbearable!

Great and sturdy dining set…
This dishes set is so nice and sturdy. I got these for my twin nephews when they were moving into their first place. I wanted something sturdy and that would last since two 18 year old boys are pretty tough on things. I figured Stoneware was always a good bet.They came really well packaged in one big box. I got the linen shade, I think it was the best or all the options. It’s a simple and timeless looking set that will suit all their needs and hopefully will hold up for them.

Great plates and bowls!!
I decided it was time to replace my old plates and bowls and thought Iâd give these a try because I love the color and style. When they arrived, they did not disappoint! They are just as nice looking in person. They are a good weight – not too heavy and not too light and are perfect sizes. I saw other reviews that people say they scratch easy, but mine have held up really well and Iâve had them for about three months. So far no scratches and not chips. Overall, they are really nice plates for a good price and I recommend them!

Great value, but marks easily
This stoneware set is heavy and a fantastic value for the quality. It looks great and doesn’t seem to crack or chip easily, but seems susceptible to cosmetic scratches from silverware. This is probably due to getting the tan color, but I get dark lines from rubbing spoons, forks, and knives on the surface of the plates and bowls while eating.So while I fully recommend this set and it seems like a solid value at time of review, I would recommend getting the darker colors.

We got the sage color set with the matching 40 oz pasta bowls and we love them!! Perfect color.Only giving 4 stars due to a couple of the bowls and plates having some scuff marks which I assume was from packing. And a few bowls has little tiny bubbles maybe from when they made them?But itâs nothing too noticeable, we still love them! They are a bit heavy so hoping the durability is good!
