Very good option for travel.
I got the Kettle because I like to make my coffee when I travel. The kettle works very well; however, it takes 6 minutes from 0 to boiling point on a 115 VAC 60 hertz system for 12 oz of water. I like how compact it is; it can heat enough water for an instant Noodle Soup.Thanks,Oscar A.

Compact and works fast
I bought this for my work office to heat up water for coffee, tea and instant noodles and works great. It heats the water super fast and it gets really hot. The only reason why I didnât give it 5 starts was because since it is collapsable, the body of the pot is not sturdy and could bend and spill if you are not careful. I disconnect it first and use both hands to pour. Other than that, it perfect for my needs and the price was good.

Although I followed the directions to clean the kettle before using, there continues to be white residue in the water. Probably tried boiling more than 10 pots but I still canât get rid of it. Also it automatically turns back on which I feel is very dangerous. Do not buy.

FOR TRAVEL: I have always been grossed out by the hotel coffee makers. They are never clean and you can’t make tea without it tasting like coffee. I finally ordered this so I can enjoy a cup of tea in the morning when travelling. IT’S GREAT! Fill it up and turn it on. That’s it. It actually boils a full 3 cups of water quickly and turns off automatically! FOR HOME: I like it so much that it has now replaced my kettle at home. It collapses easily for quick storage in the cabinet. No more kettle sitting out on the stove or counter. DORM: HELLO? RAMEN NOODLES PLEASE! ADVICE: I recommend using filtered or bottled water to prevent the inevitable scale build-up. Wipe out / let dry before collapsing for storage. You still reading this? What are you waiting for?? LOL

Loved it while it worked
I really loved this pot, it heated quickly and being able to collapse it and put it in a drawer when Iâm done is wonderful when living in a cramped space. However, after less than 2 months of semi-regular use, I flipped the plastic switch over to on one morning and it completely fell out. It was never dropped or banged around, but a piece of plastic that holds it in place is visibly broken and despite trying to repair it, itâs done for. I would love to give this 5 stars, but getting less than 2 months of use out of it is really disappointing.
