Great portable kettle!
This little kettle is great. I love the temperature presets, even though I only use the boil temperature. It’s nice to have other options. It only heats water for one mug at a time, but that is the point of a travel kettle. It’s much smaller than my 32 oz water bottle, so it’s easy to pack and take places. I wanted this specifically for a road trip I will be taking, and I want to be able to have tea and oatmeal and any other “just add hot water” meal options. It runs perfectly from my Jackery 1000 Power Bank. The power draw on it ranged from 280-290 watts, so the 300 watt power rating in the specs is very accurate. It’s a great little kettle, and I hope it lasts for years. I like the solid construction and the fact that you can heat water and then put the lid on and use it as a thermos to keep the water hot for a while. It’s also well insulated so it’s not hot at all to the touch (on the top part) when the water has boiled and is ready to pour. The bottom part where the heating element is does get warm to the touch, but it doesn’t feel super hot to where you could burn yourself. I’m very happy with the quality and build of this kettle.

Great but still needs work
Cool product. I bought because I needed a portable heater for my job on the road that could handle international electrical. It doesn’t disappoint for heating water. Here’s my issues:1.) It’s small. So small in fact that when trying to make a cup of tea in the morning you will barely get 8oz if your luck after pouring it in with tea leaves.2.) It has boil protection but you have to select temperature hold as soon as it’s done. So if you start it in the shower and miss the beeping, you will have cooling water as soon as you get to it.3.) I don’t think the temps are correct. 176 created a boiling that was so painful I couldn’t pick up my tea mug afterwards. Extremely hot.4.) The beeping is super quiet. Very hard to hear if you’re next to the air conditioner in your room.Yes, I will keep the product. High quality steel that travels well and does international voltages. They are the only product I’ve seen. I’m excited for version 2.0, hopefully my suggestions help. Please don’t make it any fatter, and if you go taller, don’t get higher than a standard luggage work tote. Thanks

The perfect travel kettle: it’s minimalist, well designed, and works! I love it so much!
I’ve been comparing travel kettles on Amazon and decided to go with this one because of its appearance, its 316 stainless steel, and also its temperature presets. It boils water faster than I expected, and the temperature is quite accurate! I used my thermometer to check and it was usually within a couple of degrees. I usually set it to 176 for matcha, and when the kettle reaches that temperature, it beeps to let you know but since it stops heating at 176, the temperature does overshoots to 180ish but comes down gradually. I think this is completely normal, you cannot expect a kettle to reach exactly 176 without overshooting right? This kettle is so convenient because when you’re traveling, sometimes the hotel doesn’t always have a kettle. Also, if you’re serious about your tea or coffee, it eliminates having to bring a thermometer. Highly recommended! The only thing is I wish we could switch between F and C. I see in previous reviews that it used to be in Celcius but they switched it to F, probably for Americans…
