Fantastic feel and Razor Sharp
This tiny knife is a real sleeper! I had one for years and barely used it until I began eating kiwi every day. OMG it is very nimble and great for making tiny cuts in fruit and vegetables- Radish “flowers”, coring kiwi, topping strawberries! It’s awesome. I don’t really consider it a paring knife as it is so short top to edge and even in small hands is awkward, but for fine detail- Fantastic. I bought 2 as holiday gifts when they went on sale and both recipients love them!

Better as a utility knife than pairing
When I first got this knife I was disappointed. It does not make a great pairing knife like other knives I have. However, as just a general, beater, kitchen utility knife it does quite well. It is still plenty sharp 2 years since I purchased it. Although it is not as insanely sharp as when I first got it. Global knives are quite good for the price. Best pairing knife? #1 Kasumi #2 Misono #3 Wusthof.

Global Paring Knife
I have a large set of Global knives and I love them. The item pictured was a very versatile knife and fits my hand well. It was part of my original set. I liked it so well that I wanted to purchase another one. Unfortunately, the knife pictured is no longer offered and the item I received is another Global design. It is also a 3 inch paring knife, but not nearly as well designed. The reason for the three stars is because the item was misrepresented. I would have given the pictured knife five stars if it were still available for purchase.
