This wok works well. We like that it does not have teflon or other non-stick coating. My husband can flip fried rice with it easily.

I was excited to try this wok because it doesnât need to be seasoned and purported to clean easily. Both these things are true and it conducts heat quickly and evenly. I like the wooden handle and the ring at the end allows me to hang it on my pan rack. Iâm not familiar enough with the materials to say how long-lasting it will prove to be, but my last wok died after it was used by a roommate for the wrong purposes and the seasoning/surface was ruined so itâs a toss up. I will say that this wok is significantly smaller than what Iâm used to and more than a few Brussels sprouts landed outside the pan. Iâll get used to it, but it would be nice if it were larger.

This wok is a great addition to my kitchen. Itâs light, heats up fast, and the ceramic coating is pretty good at not letting food stick. The wood handle feels nice, and it looks good, too. Just be careful with the coatingâitâs not the toughest and can scratch. All in all, a solid four stars! Would recommend.

Well-made nonstick wok
I’ve only used this once, but it is so nice. It’s been yearrrrs since I’ve owned a wok, so this is exciting to me. Really well-made, heavy duty (not too heavy to handle though), solid handle. It’s carbon steel with ceramic nonstick coating, so is said to be safe. Wok cooking is usually done with high heat, and high heat is not recommended with ceramic coating. I knew that when I got this though. I will keep close observation of the coating for breakdown though and will toss it at the first sign of damage, but I hope it lasts. I don’t use high heat very often anyway as I tend to burn things. haha

A Great Starter Wok
After mastering cast iron and the more elusive stainless steel cookware, I felt ready to move on to carbon steel. And to make it more challenging, I thought, “why not a wok!”This wok has been a great introduction to both carbon steel and wok. My beginner’s goal was to master the art of “wok hei” (é¬æ°). It only took about 20 attempts to really get the tossing and to understand the different temperature zones of the pan.I seasoned it with some sesame oil and chopped onions and it didn’t really take a seasoning well. But it was mostly non-stick out of the box. After about 15 uses, it started to gain an even non-stick patina so I believe this will season up nicely like traditional woks.I especially appreciate the acacia handle. It has a nice little notch in for the index finger that aids in flipping.I have a 20k btu gas burner on my range but I am probably going to get a wok ring to further concentrate and intensify the flam and heat. But over all, the pan is a solid starter.
