I thought the handle would be alot more thicker but I’m satisfied with it the first week I’ve had it. I’ll let you know in a year.

Works great for arthritic hands
My wife has rheumatoid arthritis and finds it difficult to use traditional manual can openers. She loves this one. Although its size requires it to have a special place in the kitchen since it won’t fit in the utensil drawer due to the large handle but she feels that’s a small trade off given how easy it is for her to operate. It’s a good quality and does a good job opening pretty much any size can. The large grip on the handle makes it even better for her to grip it in a comfortable manner.

Color
The red color is not actually red but more of a burnt ombre color (fall orange but not the pretty kind kind of like a rust color). Disappointed as we wanted it to make our red appliances.

Very heavy duty with multiple gears
I got tired of the standard small, manual can openers. I have an electric that cuts the top from the outside, top edge. Other family members don’t like it because you have to press the top of the can to pop the top off. I saw this extra large can opener and decided to get it to stop the complaining. It is what I call a commercial can opener. It’s about 8″ long with a crank handle with a big, round, rotating knob. This thing can open gallon sized cans and 15 oz cans equally as well. It has a magnet in it to pick the lids up so you don’t have to push the lids down with your finger to fish them out. Its levers open out to a full 180°. The lever arms are vinyl coated. These will last a lifetime of opening cans in a home kitchen.

A reliable, easy-to-use can opener!
This can opener is incredibly easy to use and opens cans without any difficulty. The handle is comfortable and very little pressure is needed to turn or hold it closed. I donât have to struggle or put in a lot of effort to open cans. That makes it a good product for me. Itâs also very sturdy and well-built, which gives me confidence that it will last a long time. This would also be a really great tool for anyone with hand injuries or arthritis.

Great Concept, But Falls Short on Durability
When I first came across this hand-crank can opener, I was excited about the promise of an efficient, heavy-duty design. The inclusion of a crank to increase torque seemed like a game-changing feature for tackling larger cans with ease. For the first few uses, the tool lived up to its potentialâit was smooth, quick, and effortless. However, my enthusiasm quickly faded as the design flaws became apparent. The primary issue lies in the tool’s construction. The body is too thin, which makes the opener feel flimsy during use. While the ergonomic handles and oversized knob are comfortable and easy to grip, they canât compensate for the lack of structural sturdiness. The blade, which initially cuts through cans effortlessly, dulls surprisingly fast, resulting in inconsistent performance. Adding to the frustration, the sprocket wheels become stuck after limited use.Itâs evident that cost-cutting measures in materials have significantly impacted the durability of this product. What starts as a promising solution quickly devolves into a less-than-reliable kitchen companion. While this opener might serve well for occasional or light use, itâs not built for long-term, heavy-duty tasks as advertised. If you’re looking for a reliable, commercial-grade can opener, this might not be the best long-term investment. However, if you’re okay with replacing it after a short period or only plan to use it sparingly, it might still fit the bill for its ergonomic and user-friendly design. With better materials and construction, this could have been a standout product.
