Perfect 20-Quart pot for cooking for a large family/size portions
I love this 20 Quart pot I bought this one as a gift for my mother to make her famous chili, soups, and sauces. This is actually the second one I’ve purchased by this brand. It comes with a lid so no need to buy it separately. It is perfect for cooking big amounts or if you have a large family. It is stainless steel and extremely easy to wash. Perfect for anyone looking for a large pot, large enough to do a seafood boil. Definitely a household essential!

It worked for what I needed it to do
It is stainless steel, it is 20Qts, it held water for an hour while I heated something. The bottom is not flat, it was dented on the bottom enough that it was creased, the lid was warped, and the 2-sided label for the plastic bag was instead applied directly to the pot which took 20 minutes to scrub off and I have no idea what the safety warnings on the back said, and the rivets look like they were done by sweatshop labor. That said it was and likely still it the absolute least expensive 20qt steel pot you can buy, and it seems to work, it doesn’t seem cheap to me but that’s inflation and considering it is the least expensive option I think it does very well and would recommend it to beginning brewers, people dyeing things, people doing crafts, any of those uses. maybe cooking a turkey outside? Not sure on that one. But don’t get it thinking it will be your go to soup pot for a 10+ person family or if you plan on cooking down maple syrup for 2 months a year, I just don’t think it would stand up to that super well.

    Its good for brewing beer
It did its Job, yes its a bit thin (But I like that, make is lighter), and the bottom sort of pops when you pick it up from the burner (full). But its nothing important to me. I worked great to boil my beer wort, cant beat the price. If you are not neatpicky and brew beer, I would recommend this pot.5 Stars for the price and because it does its job.

You Pay for What You Get
I have started home brewing again after several years of being out of the game, and I needed to upgrade because I was previously using an enamel coated pot for my wort. Eventually I want to go all-grain with a high-end setup, but for now I just wanted something inexpensive to brew up extract kits. After searching a few places online I found this pot which seemed like it was exactly what I wanted for the time being for a good price. When I received it you could tell this wasn’t a super high quality pot by the weight, but it was in good condition and didn’t have any dent’s or scratches. The handles for the lid and pot were tightly riveted, and it matched the description listed on Amazon. I have used it a couple of times for brews, and it has good heat distribution and does what I need it to do for now.Bottom line: there are thicker, higher quality stainless steel pots out there, but for the price this makes a great pot for most average jobs.

You get what you pay for: Wobble, wobble, shake, shake
We like to smoke our turkey legs and needed a larger stock pot for the brine. I avoid brining in plastic and aluminum so we figured stainless steel was the way to go. This stock pot was cheap and claims to be stainless steel so we figured we would give it a go.While washing the pot I realized it is quite flimsy. The lid warps easily under slight pressure. As you can see from the video, the pot wobbles quite a bit when on high heat. I also witnessed, and heard, the bottom of the pot “pop” out when it reached a certain temperature. I’ve never experienced anything so bizarre.Definitely a cheap pot that we won’t use for anything other than brining.

As flimsy as it gets, but it worked well nonetheless.
This pot is so flimsy, it’s almost a wonder it doesn’t burst from the sheer weight of water it holds. When rinsing it, if it touches the edge of the sink, it makes a resounding and loud “boi-nngggg” like a drum. When I saw that the product photos didn’t show the base, I knew what to expect: A stamped base of the same thickness as the rest of the pot. That’s what I received (see my photos below). I was concerned it wouldn’t hold up under use, but I’ve filled it 6 times with water and boiled it for about 36 hours now, and it’s going strong.Even filled with water, the lid handle didn’t get too hot for me to hold with my bare hand.I don’t know how long this will last, but I needed it for one event, and it’s going to last me for that. I wouldn’t buy this as a long-term investment, though.

I began canning for the first time this year and didn’t want to invest in a lot of expensive equipment in case I never canned again. This large stock pot was perfect for the job. I used it on top of a ceramic top electric stove. I put a round cooling/roasting rack on the bottom of the pot to rest the pint jars on.The material it is made of is not thick and heavy. This makes it easier to lift when full of water but may effect its durability. It is large, so must be used on the larger burners. It has not scratched my stove-top. Also, make sure that your sink is big enough so that you can fill it and clean it.I have also used it for making stock and intend to use it for dying material.

We got the pot to make large batches of soup and stock, and it works perfectly for that. However we found that the pot was slightly thin, more like a canning pot, but gets the job done!

Compré ésta cacerola para preparar cerveza artesanal y resulta excelente su tamaño, quizá hubiera sido mejor una de mayor tamaño, pero por la relación precio-calidad quedo satisfecho y contento con mi compra.
