I’ve been wanting one of these for years and finally got one. Used it last night to make jambalaya and everything came out perfect. And yes, there is some discoloration after use. it’s aluminum. that’s what happens, it’s a chemical reaction. It’s lightweight. seems it’s going to last a while. easy to use and for those that are surprised, no it is NOT nonstick. It’s not a fancy looking pot, but that’s part of its beauty. As far as durability, I’m hoping it’s going to last many years. The reason why I’m taking one star away is the damn sticker on the side of it did not want to come off. I was able to but it was not easy, And part of the problem with that sticker it seems if care instructions were on the back of it but since the sticker tore I can’t read it. not sure who the genius was who thought of putting care instructions on the inside of the sticker that was impossible to take off the pan in the first place… genius!.

My Go To Pot!!
This caldero is my go to pot any day, For some one that does a lot of cooking, this is a dream. It’s 7quart, a decent size but I was hoping it would be bigger. I’m definitely going to buy a much bigger size. I love it but it’s not particularly cheapð¢ But trust me you can’t go wrong with this pot and you definitely don’t have to worry anymore about your food bubbling over, just put the lid on and it seals in all the moisture and steam. ððð

I am so pleased with this purchase. I have zero complaints so far. Rice comes out great and doesn’t stick at all. The pot is exactly as pictured. The handles are small and a little rough in texture. I imagine that this pot will last for a long time and undertake many meals.
