These are nice steak knives. Nice weight, sharp, look good. The blade/knife is a single piece of steel that continues through the handle, unlike cheap knives where the blade is only partway into a plastic handle (Iâve had that type before and broken them).Iâve only had them a short time, so I canât comment yet on how well they hold an edge.

Very poor blade design and quality, not sharp at all.
I was looking for a nice serrated blade steak knife to add as a companion to my very nice standard Japanese steak knife set, for times when a serrated blade would be better than a flat blade. Based upon the many positive reviews about these and the very reasonable price I decided to give these a try. I’ve had them for 8 months now, used them literally a handful of times only, they are absolutely terrible knives. I have no idea what the other reviewers who glowed about these were thinking. They are in no way sharp at all, completely dull knives. The serrations are very pointed peaks and the edges of the serrations are completely dull. A good serrated steak knife has serrated edges that are actually sharp, that’s the whole point of them. The end result of this is that these knives can’t actually cut any kind of meat without just tearing it to shreds. At this point I decided I’m going to try to grind the blades down and sharpen them manually myself to see if I can salvage any utility out of them, right now they are completely useless. I suspect when I grind them down I’ll find that the steel quality of the blade is very poor and they won’t actually hold an edge, and will end up throwing these in the garbage.
