I love cooking with these pans, theyâre useful sizes, their weight and heat transfer is definitely cast iron like but has incredible nonstick. The benefits of cast iron at a third the weight and non-stick surface
I’ve had this set for a couple of months. I was hesitant to keep them because of their weight – they are a bit heavy. However, they are nowhere near as heavy as my cast iron skillet!I am using these pans on a gas stove and they do not warp with the heat of the flame. They take a little longer to heat up than aluminum but the heat is very uniform and they hold the heat after the gas is shut off.I generally try to wash them by hand but some nights I just shove them into the dishwasher and they come out great. Hoping the non-stick surface continues to be non-stick!

Very nice, very heavy
I recently received the set and used them soon after. VERY nonstick so far. I will be careful not to mar the coating because they aren’t cheap and are so nice. I ordered these iron pans vs the newer steel/aluminum hybrid knowing they would be heavier but I like the heat retention and uniformity of iron, and felt there was less likelihood of warping of the bottom. Just be careful moving them around on your stove if you have a glass top as heavy cast iron pans and pots will scratch it up. Nice and easy to clean and look great too. I always wipe either coconut oil or olive oil onto the cooking surface to help season it like with cast iron after I wash it and put it away.

Injury from exploding rivet caps! Do Not Buy!
I have owned these frying pans for almost 1 year now. Purchased in Oct 2023 on Amazon. Love them! However, recently I was injured by an explosion while using one of the pans. One of the caps covering the rivets that connect the handle to the pan exploded, like a bullet out of a gun, and hit my hand while I was stirring food cooking in the pan, causing an injury. It was as loud as a gun shot. Luckily, it didn’t hit me in the face or injure anyone else. After assessing the situation, I can only imagine that moisture had gotten in between the cap and rivet, and when I used the pan to cook with, the heat caused steam to build up and explode, causing the metal cap to become a bullet. I am going to file a complaint for a recall so nobody else gets hurt. I noticed a second fry pan from the set is also missing a cap. The handles are now becoming a little loose as well. I need to throw these away so somebody else doesn’t get injured. I hope I can get my money back.

I was not sure what to expect with this set. Well , the quality is great , so easy to wash. But cooking is so different with these pans. You need very little oil , medium heat & such non stick surface !! These will become your all time favorite skillets , really . Also it does not go unnoticed that they are beautiful with mat black body and gold handles . VERY HAPPY with my skillets.

These are beautifully designed frying pans and if you are careful with them they should serve you well for many years. When used correctly, with a touch of cooking oil, they are very non-stick. They are ready for the next use with a good wipe out or wash – I choose to not wash them in the dishwasher, but you can make your own choice. Considering that they are cast-iron, they are not as heavy as I expected, which makes them easier to use. I store them stacked, with pads between them to avoid scratches and they still look and work like new. I think it is important to follow the use and care instruction if you want to be happy with these frying pans. These are great value and I recommend them to you as a long term investment in the culinary arts. My rating is 4.5 stars due to the need to follow the manufacturers instructions.
