I bought this product because of an video I watched showing how easy and creative this idea is — I used both wet stones and electric sharpener before, but they are messy to set up and organize.To my surprise, it does its job really well! Iâm not new to knife sharpening. Iâve tried out a few other rolling sharpeners and prefer this one because the blade faces down. This means I donât have to place anything underneath the roller for my bigger knives. Itâs more convenience than anything else. The disc is great and easy to change if needed. Sharpens fast. Just make sure to hone with a piece of leather after for that razor sharpness.

We have set off Henkel knifes that are regularly getting dull and the cheap knife sharpener we have want found a good job, so tried one of these rolling ones. This works great! Really quick and easy, and puts a fantastic edge on the knife, far better than our pull through sharpeners. I think I’ve found my new favorite way of sharpening knives, its super easy to use and its pretty enjoyable to do at the same time. I used to use a stone for my larger knives, and other systems for my smaller knives. Thankfully it had the standard knife angle of 15 degrees for my kitchen knives.
