These knives are sharp, not just in appearance but in material as well. Forged in one tang, stainless steel. So far, no rust spots or issues. I will update this post in 6 months but they look great, nice weight in hands and cut as intended. Very pleased .

Upon opening this set, there were two boxes inside the main box, so I opened the one with the knife block. I was impressed, the wood was so pretty and so soft and smooth. Then when I opened the box with the knives, they were all individually wrapped and had little plastic tips protecting the pointy tips. The steel was exceptionally shiny, looked much better than they did online. The knives felt comfortable in my hand, my hand is small-med. I would say the weight is good. The blades are straight and extremely sharp.

I bought this set of knives as my friend recommended the set after our new home purchase. It has a variety of knives that are very useful for every cooking in the kitchen and my wife loves them. The blades are quite sharp, and the handles are comfortable to grip. The only thing I would have loved to change is the number of steak knives included. It comes with 6 steak knives and we do not have much use for these as we don’t consume steak but found other uses for these. I would have liked more of the utility knives to go with this set. Added sharpening rod is quite handy and easy to use. Overall for a family of 4 or more this is a great addition to the kitchen.
