Great little strop
Very nice strop, good thick quality leather, looks like it should last a good long while. I have been using it with my straight razor and it provides a good sharp blade for shaving. Also very compact so I can slip it into a drawer. Would buy again and the customer service was great too, feels like a good company and I would recommend them to anyone looking to keep their blades razor sharp.

For a fine polished edge
This strop works perfectly for the final polishing of the honed edge on my kitchen knives. Leaves a gleaming razor sharp edge and is easy to use. The included polishing compound is nice and works well. I use it on the sueded side for the cleaning up after the final passes on the stones and then I use the smooth side as-is for one or two final passes just to get the perfect edge. Works well for touching up an otherwise sharp blade between uses.

I have not used a strop before so I chose this one for the low price point and large size. Haven’t quite got the hang of it yet but am getting great results anyway. Removes the burr and hones the blade to a razor sharp aligned edge after sharpening with a whetstone, exactly what it’s supposed to do. My knives are sharp but I’ll watching a few more videos and practicing to hone my technique. [See what I did there?]. Comes with instructions and some green finishing compound that you rub on to the strop before use. Perfect for beginners like me, I highly recommend this product.

Bought to hone a straight razor unable to obtain a passing dangling hair test on my razor even after following YouTube instruction videos possibly because Iâm a beginner. Havenât used in any of my knives yet, though. Should work well enough for my knives

It’s just as you expect it to be, think it will last a long time, perhaps a tad expensive coming from America, the exchange rate to Uk not very good (2021) but it works well.
