Well, it LOOKS like a Dutch Ovenâ¦
â¦but it is much too thin and light weight to have the cooking performance expected of a proper Dutch Oven. A good Dutch Oven should be heavy enough to heat up evenly and slowly and retain heat well to facilitate even browning and provide a constant temperature without big fluctuations for slow cooking.On the other hand itâ s a decent general purpose pot at a good price.
