Literally, the best pans on the market.
I had read so many reviews before deciding to purchase, and I came to one conclusion from so many people writing bad reviews — you all don’t know how to cook! I have cooked fish, seared a steak, cooked scrambled eggs with cheese, poached an egg, fried bacon, made a bourbon reduction sauce with molasses and the consistent result from all these — everything was cooked to perfection and literally slid right out of the pan.I wanted to try these particular pans because for so long I’ve used Lodge cast iron pans. Don’t get me wrong my cast iron pans are amazing but the constant maintenance can be exhausting. The Hexclad pan is being promoted as a hybrid of stainless steel, the durability of cast iron, and completely non-stick. They didn’t disappoint. Plus they’re so much lighter than my cast iron skillets and cleanups are a breeze.Let me give anyone who reads this a few tips:#1 Follow the directions given in the package.#2 Please, put a buffer between what you’re cooking and the pan. I use beef tallow, lard, or ghee. And please whatever you do, stay away from seed oils. Not only are they extremely unhealthy for you but their high heat points can’t cut it like natural fats.#3 Cook on low to medium heat. You won’t be disappointed and you’ll be surprised at how well these pans heat up.#4 When using any stainless steel utensils, don’t dig into the pan or use a fork with the tines down scraping the bottom, or doing the same thing with a knife, or ….. you get the point. See what I did there? Point? And lastly #5 …… refer back to #2 and you won’t go wrong. Watching some of the videos where someone is cooking scrambled eggs without a buffer — what did you think was going to happen!? SMHHappy cooking!Update: I have used this pan for just about everything and I absolutely love it. It has literally became my favorite pan. Cooking is fun once again and the food tastes better. The ergonomics of the pan handle helps as it stays cool. But don’t put your pan in the oven at 500° and then grab it by the handle because your’re itching for a burn you don’t want. This pan is a little heavier than what most of you are use to with your Teflon pans; that’s because they’re made from quality materials. I am disappointed they’re made in China, but they are designed and planned here in the US.So the reason for writing this update is, and as I stated earlier, I really love this pan. So much so I purchased the complete set. Everyone has their own set of pans they love, and all I’m doing is giving you my two cents worth. As of right now 11.21.2024, Hexclad has their Black Friday sale. Check them out as you won’t be disappointed.Happy cooking!

    Outstanding – nearly perfect
Firstly, it’s the best cookware I’ve ever used and I’ve used many over the past 40 years. It’s not perfect, I’ll get to that. It handles high heat really well. It’s solid but not too heavy. My favorite thing about it is the ease of flipping eggs and pancakes due to the design shape of the edge. I use metal utensils with very little concern. I wash it in the dishwasher with no problem. The handle stays cool on the stove. The heat is very evenly spaced along the bottom. The bottom is nonstick which is a huge plus for me because my other pans look tore up on the bottom. It’s honestly my favorite pan and it inspires me to cook more. I wish I had more Hexclad. BTW, this isn’t a paid review or sponsored or anything. I paid full price for this pan. So, after all that, and under very close examination, after several uses, here is the rub: I am beginning to see wear to the anti stick coating in between the raised metal bumps. It’s very slight and I can see it won’t be a problem for several years however I do not believe it will last a lifetime. Time will tell.

Durable, heats up well, easy to clean
This is the best frying pan I’ve ever used and I’ve tried a lot of non-stick, cast iron, and carbon steel pans. None of them work as well as this Hexclad 12 inch sauté pan. It heats up very fast, makes great sear on meats, cleans up easily, and you can use metal utensils on this pan. I will only be using Hexclad from now on.

    Amazing Cookware
Love the HexClad pans! I now have both the 8” and the 12” skillets and they are stellar! Cooks beautifully at low temperatures and heats up evenly and fast. Easy to clean. Non stick surface can’t be beat. Safe to use metal on the surface. Amazing cookware. Highly recommend.

    New go to skillet
After unboxing the pan I was struck by its weight. Very sturdy. After reading the first use instructions I seasoned and started using. I make eggs in it almost everyday. Perfect every time. Getting the temp correct is a bit of a learning curve, (I have electric stove). As with everything it’s not completely non-stick. You still need a little fat or oil, ( very little). Overall I love it. I will replace all my cookware with hexclad in time.

    Superior product
I have purchased many nonstick pans in my lifetime, just to be disappointed over time. After seeing HexClad cookware on Hell’s Kitchen, I decided to try. This pan is the absolute best ever! I followed the instructions and have loved the results. No sticking and easy to clean. Definitely worth paying more.

Best Fry Pan I’ve Ever Owned
I’m not a professional chef, or even consider cooking a hobby. I do cook my breakfast every morning, and the vast majority of the holiday meals. This year my wife decided to treat me to a quality fry pan that I never would have considered on my own, primarily because of the price. But now that I’ve tried it, I love cooking with it. With this fry pan I can use lower heat settings on the stove and get the same results as my older, much cheaper fry pans. The nonstick surface works very well and I am hoping it will be long lasting.

I wanted a larger non stick frying pan and decided on this one. It was pricey but is very good quality. Make sure to season as directed by the package insert. I did so and have used it many times now cooking eggs, chicken and pork. It heats pretty evenly for such a large pan and is easy to clean afterwards. The added dome lid is also very useful and is also of great quality. To be sure, it’s expensive but after many uses I would say it is definitely worth the extra $.

This 35 cm pan is large giving me more room to cook up larger dishes (particularly when it comes to searing the large rib steaks I get from my butcher). This pan looks the business when it’s on my induction stove and heated up really fast. I like the fact you can use a scourer on the non-stick coating (should it ever need it). These are expensive but they really are quality and come with a lifetime guarantee.Having got the pan I have gone ahead and bought the 6 piece pot set as my old pots from some other manufacturer have tended to be temperamental on my induction hob and I just loved the fact my Hexclad pan just warmed up immediately and reached temperature in seconds.
