Literally, the best pans on the market.
I had read so many reviews before deciding to purchase, and I came to one conclusion from so many people writing bad reviews â you all donât know how to cook! I have cooked fish, seared a steak, cooked scrambled eggs with cheese, poached an egg, fried bacon, made a bourbon reduction sauce with molasses and the consistent result from all these â everything was cooked to perfection and literally slid right out of the pan.I wanted to try these particular pans because for so long Iâve used Lodge cast iron pans. Donât get me wrong my cast iron pans are amazing but the constant maintenance can be exhausting. The Hexclad pan is being promoted as a hybrid of stainless steel, the durability of cast iron, and completely non-stick. They didnât disappoint. Plus theyâre so much lighter than my cast iron skillets and cleanups are a breeze.Let me give anyone who reads this a few tips:#1 Follow the directions given in the package.#2 Please, put a buffer between what youâre cooking and the pan. I use beef tallow, lard, or ghee. And please whatever you do, stay away from seed oils. Not only are they extremely unhealthy for you but their high heat points canât cut it like natural fats.#3 Cook on low to medium heat. You wonât be disappointed and youâll be surprised at how well these pans heat up.#4 When using any stainless steel utensils, donât dig into the pan or use a fork with the tines down scraping the bottom, or doing the same thing with a knife, or â¦.. you get the point. See what I did there? Point? And lastly #5 â¦â¦ refer back to #2 and you wonât go wrong. Watching some of the videos where someone is cooking scrambled eggs without a buffer â what did you think was going to happen!? SMHHappy cooking!Update: I have used this pan for just about everything and I absolutely love it. It has literally became my favorite pan. Cooking is fun once again and the food tastes better. The ergonomics of the pan handle helps as it stays cool. But donât put your pan in the oven at 500° and then grab it by the handle because yourâre itching for a burn you donât want. This pan is a little heavier than what most of you are use to with your Teflon pans; thatâs because theyâre made from quality materials. I am disappointed theyâre made in China, but they are designed and planned here in the US.So the reason for writing this update is, and as I stated earlier, I really love this pan. So much so I purchased the complete set. Everyone has their own set of pans they love, and all Iâm doing is giving you my two cents worth. As of right now 11.21.2024, Hexclad has their Black Friday sale. Check them out as you wonât be disappointed.Happy cooking!

Outstanding – nearly perfect
Firstly, itâs the best cookware Iâve ever used and Iâve used many over the past 40 years. Itâs not perfect, Iâll get to that. It handles high heat really well. Itâs solid but not too heavy. My favorite thing about it is the ease of flipping eggs and pancakes due to the design shape of the edge. I use metal utensils with very little concern. I wash it in the dishwasher with no problem. The handle stays cool on the stove. The heat is very evenly spaced along the bottom. The bottom is nonstick which is a huge plus for me because my other pans look tore up on the bottom. Itâs honestly my favorite pan and it inspires me to cook more. I wish I had more Hexclad. BTW, this isnât a paid review or sponsored or anything. I paid full price for this pan. So, after all that, and under very close examination, after several uses, here is the rub: I am beginning to see wear to the anti stick coating in between the raised metal bumps. Itâs very slight and I can see it wonât be a problem for several years however I do not believe it will last a lifetime. Time will tell.

Durable, heats up well, easy to clean
This is the best frying pan Iâve ever used and Iâve tried a lot of non-stick, cast iron, and carbon steel pans. None of them work as well as this Hexclad 12 inch sauté pan. It heats up very fast, makes great sear on meats, cleans up easily, and you can use metal utensils on this pan. I will only be using Hexclad from now on.

Amazing Cookware
Love the HexClad pans! I now have both the 8â and the 12â skillets and they are stellar! Cooks beautifully at low temperatures and heats up evenly and fast. Easy to clean. Non stick surface canât be beat. Safe to use metal on the surface. Amazing cookware. Highly recommend.

New go to skillet
After unboxing the pan I was struck by its weight. Very sturdy. After reading the first use instructions I seasoned and started using. I make eggs in it almost everyday. Perfect every time. Getting the temp correct is a bit of a learning curve, (I have electric stove). As with everything itâs not completely non-stick. You still need a little fat or oil, ( very little). Overall I love it. I will replace all my cookware with hexclad in time.

Superior product
I have purchased many nonstick pans in my lifetime, just to be disappointed over time. After seeing HexClad cookware on Hellâs Kitchen, I decided to try. This pan is the absolute best ever! I followed the instructions and have loved the results. No sticking and easy to clean. Definitely worth paying more.

Seems nice
Only used once. So can’t say much. Kinda pricey I think but that’s just me

So far, it’s a great pan…
I’ve only used this pan a few times, but so far, I’m very happy. I followed the instructions for seasoning. I’ve cooked steak, chicken, lamb, and eggs at medium on a gas stove. The pan cooks as well as advertised and cleans up easily. There was an issue cooking eggs over easy, even after cooking bacon and hash browns first. I had not added any more oil or butter to the pan, and the eggs stuck. Still, the pan was cleaned up by just running hot water over it.I’ve just ordered the 10″ wok. I purposely did not order a set because it contains pans that I would rarely use. The 10″ frying pan and wok are good for me because I’m only cooking for 1 or 2 people.Overall, I would recommend Hexclad. The Costco-branded pans may be just as good, but I would rather pay the extra money and get something that will probably last longer.

Product is as advertised, excellent quality. Washes up easy, retains heat during cooking and excellent value!

I wanted a larger non stick frying pan and decided on this one. It was pricey but is very good quality. Make sure to season as directed by the package insert. I did so and have used it many times now cooking eggs, chicken and pork. It heats pretty evenly for such a large pan and is easy to clean afterwards. The added dome lid is also very useful and is also of great quality. To be sure, it’s expensive but after many uses I would say it is definitely worth the extra $.

My favourite pan

This 35 cm pan is large giving me more room to cook up larger dishes (particularly when it comes to searing the large rib steaks I get from my butcher). This pan looks the business when it’s on my induction stove and heated up really fast. I like the fact you can use a scourer on the non-stick coating (should it ever need it). These are expensive but they really are quality and come with a lifetime guarantee.Having got the pan I have gone ahead and bought the 6 piece pot set as my old pots from some other manufacturer have tended to be temperamental on my induction hob and I just loved the fact my Hexclad pan just warmed up immediately and reached temperature in seconds.
