Very impressed, excellent blades, the bag is fine, extremely sharp out of the bag.
I wish I would have known of these knives sooner, but is what it is. Blades are extremely sharp right out of the packaging. The carry bag is just so-so, but no real complaints. Knife protectors are good enough, but all about the steel and blade of these knives themselves. Great starter combo or camping set if you do a lot of meal preparation. Picked up a sharpener for this set specifically at the same time, but so far after 50lbs of cutting (meat and vegetables), no need to sharpen at all, minor honing just to maintain, but great edge holding so far.I am tempted to get another set quite frankly, but maybe need to find a reason for yet another set of knives, lol. Great value during black friday sales completely, but even then, knowing what I know now, worth full price as well for sure and then some. Highly recommend.

Looks Pretty Good
I just got this. I haven’t even cut anything yet but felt the need to weigh in. I’m going to come back and update my review. I’m going to use these as my primary knives and see how they do. I have more expensive knives but other people use them and abuse them leave them in the sink. So these are just mine.Larger than I expected. I don’t know why I assumed they would be tiny. Nice canvas case. There is one minor flaw in the stitching of the trim, only noticeable if you look for flaws. And the strap is just a bit short, but not problematic. The strap could be sturdier feeling in general but for the price, come on, and likely it will wear just fine. The canvas feels nice and sturdy, no complaints there.The knives are nicely balanced, sharp, a good weight. The smallest one could use an oz or two to beef it up. The handles big enough without taking up to much room and feel solid. But they do not feel “nice”. Some sort of super durable plastic. But again, for the price, come on. The velcro straps could be a tad shorter (and maybe removable) I put a small round peeler in one of the spare notches and it all closed up just the same, no problem. Nice, now I have a peeler there when I need it. Where I can find it. There is another empty notch but it is pretty tight. I’m thinking for a Steele?The scissors are just fine, like you can get for 12 dollars. But maybe the steele is very good. I don’t know. I have a twelve dollar pair of scissors of some kind and they go through anything just fine. These are large enough to not be uncomfortable and that is good. The bear claws are like the size of those on a real bear. Maybe not but they are big. In the photo I saw the guy has three fingers inside the handle but his hands must be huge fat hands. I can easily put four fingers in. Anyway they fit OK in their place and probably work better than what I usually use to shred meat, which is anything within reach. You could also sharpen them and fix them to motorcycle gloves between the padding and the shell with the claws out the knuckle joint. But that would be crazy and I don’t know anyone would do that and I don’t recommend it.So overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and I haven’t even used it yet. I got the $100 price and I would say it’s worth that, which is rare these days. I’m excited to use them and let you know.I forgot to mention the tuning fork. The metal part is something like a .25″ thick at the base. You could lift a 20 Turkey. Nice and solid and feels good to hold and fork stuff.

Excellent selection of sharp knives. The carrying case is perfect to take camping so my good knives stay home.
