Excellent knives and a perfect match to the full Henckels set
We had bought the set of Henckels knives and loved them all. The handles are very comfortable and have a nice weight fit to them. The blades are quite sharp, so cutting is effortless, even after about a year of daily use. They wash easily, sop we don’t put them in the dishwasher. We have seen no staining or rusting so far.Unfortunately, while using one of the paring knives to separate some frozen sausages, I broke off about 1 in. of the blade. Yes,, I know this is a stupid thing to do, but I was in a hurry, and … I was very happy to find that the paring knives are a stock item, and ordered two (in case I were to forget my lesson someday). They are a perfect match to the rest of the set. I strongly recommend the full set and especially the ability to replace or extend them.

Be sure you like a slightly textured handle, but superb if you do!
I had to get used to the feel of the handle â itâs unusual. Solid metal but finely textured for grip, almost like ultra fine sandpaper. It feels to me a bit like light static in audio â an unexpected layer. But this is an absolute dream to cut with, intelligently balanced and ultra sharp.

I already had a smaller knife from the same line and the quality of the finish was significantly inferior on the new one I received. See picture for comparison. Amazon instructed me to contact the brand about the issue. The brand instructed me to contact Amazon. To make it better, for some reason I am not given the option of returning this at Whole Foods like most items. Disappointing
