Love these
These are very good knives. They are sharp but if use knives a lot they do need touch up occasionally the keep edge. They are easy to handle and the three piece set was good value. I would recommend hand washing to prevent dulling.

Fantastic, sturdy basic kitchen knife
This is exactly what I was looking for to replace my Global 8-inch kitchen knife. The handle is well constructed and sturdy, easy enough to clean, and the edge is razor sharp. It holds up to a steel well and keeps its edge for a good long time and plenty of use before it needs sharpening. I wouldn’t ever put my chefs knife in the dishwasher so I cant speak to its durability in that respect, but if you keep it clean and wipe it down after each use, this knife should last for a good long time.

Not a chef but impressive to me
I am not a chef but to an armature cook this set does a great job on a brisket, roast, turkey etc. It is very sharp, easy to handle, slices thin slices.

Two really nice, solid knives… and one less useful knife
I bought these as a Christmas gift for a friend who never seemed to have a decent knife in the kitchen. They’re a huge step up from the cheap stamped steel knives he had that were too dull to be used safely. The chef’s knife is solid, well balanced, and a good weight… It also comes with a good edge without being to be sharpened. The paring knife is similarly well balanced and can be used safely without much effort.The weak link in the trio is the bread knife. It’s too short to be used with much more than baguettes… Bagels and loaves can be cut, but take more work and with more crumbs than they should. Sadly, the bread knife is the main reason I bought this set… Fortunately the other two knives are far more useful and functional. I ended up picking up another bread knife that is far longer and far shaper for much less money… that’s ok, though, as the other two knives get much more use and are going to last for decades. A great value even with the less useful bread knife!

Very Well Made
I bought this set for my father as his knives were in bad shape. These were so nice I almost kept them for myself. They are really well made and substantial. I just purchased a new set of knives for my house and these were hands down better in every measurable way. I would buy them again and will buy a set for me some day.

Nice cutlery
I have wanted a quality set of kitchen knives for some time. I finally pulled the trigger on a three piece starter set. I could not justify spending the money for Wustaff, but when I saw a deal on this Henckels set, I placed my order. After receiving them I thought they were quite attractive. I am already in the process of ordering two more knives to add to the set.

Beautiful knives with an excellent edge and nice balance.
The real strength is the edge. They are razor sharp and hopefully will stay that way. They look like a great product too. I have to get a couple more intermediate-sized ones and will stick with Henckels knives.
