The knife stays sharp for a long time, hasn’t chipped
I couldn’t ask for more out of a paring knife, the handle is what I was looking for (large) but the blade is small. The color is nice, it came sharp out of the box, there was no residue out of the dishwasher, it was comfortable for me to hold and the blade thickness was what I was looking for.It was a good knife and I will buy more.

I have been expanding my set of HENCKELS “Statement” knives, and this small paring knife lives up to the others I have. Short, sturdy, heavy and comfortable in your hand, it will not disappoint. We use it as steak knife as well, and it slices through meat like butter.Tip: I started sharpening my knives **every single time** before using them, no matter what. It makes an amazing difference.

Excellent for bread
I started making my own bread and the knife that came with my set for bread just wasn’t cutting it. This knife lets me cut thin slices easily and doesn’t tear the bread like my other knife would. It’s held up for several months now with no change in it’s ability. Good buy.

It’s a good knife after you modify it.
These are excellent little knives but they have a very sharp 90° angle point at the back of the blade which pokes you in the hand. A few seconds with a grinder fixes it and makes it a safe product to use. I have purchased several overtime for different houses, camper cabin etc. but if you don’t grind the point off you will cut your hand!

Love the weight and the shape of handle, blade is a little deeper than anticipated but cannot complain, just hopping it is better quality than this companys knives I purchased in a box store a few years ago.
