Sharp and great value
I cannot use my dominant hand well because of an injury. Itâs very hard for me to use a knife. This knife works wonders for me! It sharp and cuts so well. I love it.

So glad I bought this
I donât like/donât have room for a lot of specialty knives. I used a knife that was much too large for cutting up vegetables or slicing tomatoes. This knife is serrated, sharp, easy to hold and the right size for me.

Heavy duty feeling- but NOT knife shown in first image labeled Statement
Heavy duty feeling- but NOT knife shown in first image with the straight edge tip labeled “Statement” which I wanted to slice thru tough materials. It actually looks like the other 3-4 Statement pictures where the point curves into a “cone” so you have to raise the back of the knife to use the point. It is thick and heavy though- seems sharp and is made in China, not Germany like the set I already own. However my German set is thinner and lighter- don’t feel as solid as this China knife. *Just FYI- any knifes with “one little guy” on the icon is made in China. The more expensive German made knifes have “two little guys” on the logo. I assume the German ones will outlast the cheaper Chinese ones but who knows. Henckel/Zwilling are related but not same line of knifes so be careful.

Nearly perfect
This is a very well made knife and one of the sharpest I own. It slices through any tomato or onion with ease. No concerns about the skin being hard to get through. Unfortunately, it is serrated on one side only which means it has a tendency not to cut straight. I still gave it 5 stars because it is a pleasure to use.

Iâm a nut for good kitchen knives
A typical bread knife can often be too big. This knife is very sharp: great for bagels and other bread.

Weight is awesome for a utility knife
I like the weight of this knife, it will provide a good balance when cutting things quickly. I just received it so time will tell on the wear and tear, but it feels good in the hand. I also like the tip guard, it would be nice to have a full blade guard, but still is nice. It will be a good size to cut smaller vegetables. The handle seems very sturdy. It states dishwasher safe, but I hand wash all my knives, or at least the ones I expect to keep for a long time.

“Statement” model handle as sharp as blade
((( This is written for the Statement model serrated knife )))I thought that a Henckels knife would be superb. The blade seems fine; it is higher quality than most knives in my home kitchen. I haven’t experienced any rusting nor found imperfections. The handle is an abomination against product engineering. The edges of the handle feel as sharp as the blade. During a long prep session, slicing and dicing my way through lots of vegetables, holding this knife was very uncomfortable. I didn’t get any blisters, but it felt like I should have had blisters raised on my palm and my thumb. My solution was to complete the finishing process that Henckels should have done in the factory.I sanded the edges with fine sandpaper (180, 320, 600) and polished them with a glass file. I now have a completely useful knife. For my FIRST Henckels knife, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED.This isn’t what I was expecting from the company’s historic reputation. I scrutinized the knife, logo, etc., to determine if I bought a knock-off. After reading many reviews about Henckels using Chinese-made products and checking the images on Zwillings’ website, I thought it might be a real Henckels. Although, there is that niggling logo/brand that is missing the JA in JA Henckels. ( still pondering knock-off )
