The shape at first took some getting used to but actually works well for even my saucer size plates. The handles are very helpful and my large plates fit nicely. Seems to be slip resistant as I have not had a problem. Definitely easier to use than typical pot holder or towel to remove from the microwave.

I no longer burn myself when I microwave bowls!
It isn’t a real thick caddy. At first glance, I questioned whether I needed one. But after I used it the first time, I was so glad I got it. It is so easy to remove hot bowls from the microwave. I still need to use a towel if I want to eat it hot by the TV. Or, I guess I could just carry it over to my chair by the handles. But it is light, not flimsy, and it does the job. It has a great barrier around the bowl just in case something overflows too.Glad I bought it. I might buy a few more for gifts. It is one of those things that is so handy to have but you might just overlook it.
