After 12 years usage, it’s still my favorite
I bought this spatula in 2012 and the photos are taken in 2024. This spatula is made from real bamboo, no coating, it’s safe to use in high heat wok and remains sturdy after 12 years frequent usage. The only thing that not work well is the edge has became dull and it doesn’t have a curled neck so not easy to flip in deep wok like egg, so I sometime hold a pair of tongs in the other hand to help flipping, so no problem. Many spatula advertised as bamboo wood, they are not actually pure bamboo because bamboo is limited in size and shape, and some have shining coating don’t feel safe for high heat cooking. This simple yet genuine real bamboo spatula is highly recommended for high heat wok cooking, perfect for fried rice and stir fry dishes.

Hey Look, It’s a Wooden Spoon!
I love cooking and this was an add-on Amazon special. I’ll admit it was a knee-jerk, spontaneous impulse buy, but truth be told, I’d buy a box of these in a heartbeat and give ’em out to my friends.I’ve had a few wooden spoons and they are typically they cheap ones you can find at a department store sold in sets for $10. This one has quickly become one of my favorite, most reached for utensils when I’m cooking. The handle is a nice length and it feels good in the hand. The spoon has a nice tapered edge design and features a pointed edge on one side. I know, we’re talking about round edges, but the picture will help you out. That edge is one of the reasons I use this spoon so much. It’s nice for scraping the inside edge of a pot or pan. I’m continually surprised how much I enjoy using this spoon. It’s held up well, cleans easily and I only wash my wooden spoons by hand. I’ve seen people throw wooden spoons in the dishwasher, but they always look beat up and the wood opens up and well, you may might as well run out and grab a branch off a tree to cook with. Take care of your cooking utensils and they’ll take care of you. But for the price of a double shot late from Starbucks, you can abuse this baby and buy another one to make yourself feel better.

Cost effective, but not very durable
I really enjoyed this wooden spatula, but it was not very durable. The spatula showed signs of staining almost immediately. Stains don’t bother me, so I continued to use it until I noticed it had grown some black mold on it. The spatula was in the trash within about 3 months, but at six bucks a pop it’s not a terrible deal.

    Excellent!
Purchased this to replace one we wore out. Highly recommend. I love using bamboo spatulas in all my pans. Saves from scratches and they hold up well in top rack of dishwasher.

I bought this spatula based on the positive reviews and I’m glad I did.First off the spatula is just the right size … not too big or small. It’s works greatr for stir frying, scooping or mixing.I prefer the Rigid Bamboo Wood and find it stiffer and stronger than silicone spatulas.Overall I’m very happy, the positive reviews are true, I would recommend this to anyone.
