A good steak knife should not have a serrated blade. I have a good steak knife set. I purchased these serrated knifes for cutting things like chicken, turkey, etc. For an inexpensive set, $17.99 they are quite good and well designed. They can’t be mistaken for a quality knife, but they’re very good for the price, and they are way better than the set of Henckel’s that I returned because they were so poorly designed. These will cut, and should last a long time.
