Sturdy, clear, good size, high quality
It feels quite solid and thick but good clarity of the glass. It comes in a cardboard box fitted quite closely to the bowl and I was at first surprised because I thought it could break easily with so little packaging, but when I picked it up and used it and cleaned it, it felt quite durable and so I understood that it might not need the packing that you otherwise would with more cheaply constructed glass (my perception). I personally love it. The stickers were easy to remove. I use it with my hand mixer and it has good weight so it doesnât feel like it will fly out of my hands. Itâs easy to clean and maintain that good clear appearance of the glass. The size is perfect for a larger batch of macaron mix (100g egg whites and 130g almond flour/sugar) using the largest size. The medium size works for smaller batches and the frosting/filling. I havenât yet bought the 900 mL smallest size, and Iâm debating on whether I need it, but I would love to have the set, as the bowls nest inside each other. It was a bit of a premium in price but definitely feels higher quality. Maybe the 900mL size will go on sale, so Iâm waiting and watching but in the meantime loving the medium and larger size ones I have.

Superior quality very functional bowls
This time I got the 1500ml bowl because I have found the 2200ml very useful. As other reviewers stated, these are superior quality glass bowls. They are comfortable to grip because of the fairly wide rim and the thickness of the glass. I use these bowls almost daily: mixing up a few cans of tuna or salmon for salad or fish patties, mixing up pico de salsa or dipsâ¦I was surprised how much simpler and quicker it is to whip cream with a handheld electric mixer using a deep but narrow bowl, huge difference. That may not be a good thing because no mess whipped cream calls my name more often. As a senior, thinking of all the money Iâve spent on kitchen ware over the years, Iâd recommend to young adults what they need for a well stocked kitchen: buy quality products that will last a lifetime and make kitchen work easier. These Hario bowls, at least the 1500ml and 2200ml, belong on the list. These are not the bowls for tossing a big salad, mixing cookie dough or cutting butter into flour when a larger wider shallower bowl works best. But the Hario bowls are great, very functional.

My new favorite kitchen gadget
This bowl works great! Wish I had found it years ago. The bottom is small enough to keep the ingredients together so I donât have to chase them down with my hand mixer, and the sides are tall enough that the ingredients donât get slung out of the bowl. It makes combining the butter and sugar a breeze! I felt it was a little expensive for a bowl, but once I used it, it became worth the price.

beautiful bowls
Replaced a very old deep but narrow mixing bowl. Ordered both sizes. They are just right for whisking eggs, making small batch tuna salad etc. Wash beautifully. Rim is good to hold and does not collect water in the dishwasher.

It fits in my 8 quart Instant Pot!
I purchased this bowl to make lemon curd in my 8 qt Instant Pot. It is perfect! I make lemon curd once a week for a topping on my Instant Pot plain Greek yogurt. It’s the perfect size and look that I wanted.

Just what I wanted
I have a small ceramic kitchen mixer bowl I’ve been using since 1970! I think it’s about to crack. I’ve looked for a similar shape bowl because I realize I use that little bowl all the time. Anyway, this Hario bowl is a smidge larger but I love that it is deep without being wide. If it had a spout it would be perfect. The quality appears to be very good and I’ll probably order the smaller bowl and buy sets for gifts.

This bowl is so awesome for baking, it’s very tall but narrow, so the ingredients are in the middle, making it easier to mix. The glass material is sturdy, overall this is a great bowl.

I have received the three bowls today. They look good. However, the boxes say we must read the manual before use and to make sure we keep the manual in a safe place. There are no manuals in the boxes. Each bowl has an insert which is written in Japanese. I don’t understand Japanese! Can you please send me the manuals – the box says handle carefully and I certainly will. But I would like full instructions for care. Thank you.
