Easy and helps my carpal tunnel
As we get older, life tends to mess with our bodies. Such is the case for me. Arthritis and capal tunnel wrists ache. Even my manual opener gives me issues.I didn’t want a large electric opener taking space in my small kitchen. This little miracle has helped A LOT!It pretty much does all the work. A little tricky to figure out at first, but once I did…can opening is easy. It’s rechargeable, easy to clean and stops automatically then the job is done. Small enough that it sits nicely in a drawer til needed. This little thing would be an EXCELLENT gift for aging parents and limitedly abled people. Not sure about younger kids though due to the sharp blade. So glad I made the purchase…price great too. Just wish this company would come up with a jar opener that’s as easy to use!Great purchase!

Hamilton Beach hand held can opener
This is a fantastic little can opener. In the past year I bought three hand crank can openers. Non worked well from the start and eventually had to be thrown away. Then I bought a battery operated one that skipped around and danced all over the place making screaming noises as if it was possessed. I didnât want a stand up opener because of limited counter space. This little can opener is simple to use and compact. Itâs the perfect size and functions flawlessly. I ran the charger wire into the cupboard for convenient charging and storage. See video and photo.

Great Can opener.
Had same one in black, given to me by a friend over 15 years ago. It finally stop charging. So happy they still make it. Small enough to fit in kitchen drawer. Easy to clean and hold a charge for many uses.

The Florida of can openers
This product worked beautifully for a couple of months, although the handle did come off while attempting to set it on a can but it could be replaced. One day the battery died and I took out the screws to recharge the battery, you cannot replace the batteries as they are connected to the device. The batteries are also connected to each other and in attempting to get them off, it is obvious it is welded together. Therefore, the only thing to do would be to trash it and get a new one, even though they are supposed to be rechargeable batteries. This is wasteful and horrible for the environment. These are worthless and since you would constantly have to replace the handle while opening a can, I cannot understand how some engineer could design such a piece of garbage.

Works great for disabled persons!
I am disabled from a stroke and only have the use of one hand. This style of can opener is one of two styles I can use to successfully open cans. It takes a bit getting used to using but once you use it a few times, you are good to go to open almost sizes of aluminum cans, from large28 oz. family size cans to shorter cans like 5 oz. tunabcans! The only change I would make is for it to open by removing the can top rather than cutting the can top from the inside if the can. There are battery-operated can openers that “uncrimp” the lid but I have purchased a couple differentbrands/ models of that style, but they do not hold up past a couple of sets of batteries so I end up having to throw them away. This HB can opener holds up and being able to recharge it and not needing to be constantly replacing batteries is both cost effective and environmentally friendly. I have been using this daily for a year and I expect it continue to work in my kitchen for years to come. Highly recommend this can opener!

Hard to Get Situated on the Can Properly
This is a cute little can opener, looks great and the concept seems like a smart idea. It’s electric but you can put it away when you don’t need it so it doesn’t take up counterspace. No cords to mess with and holds a charge for quite a while. I was immediately drawn to it!So what’s the problem? The problem is, it’s a pain to get the can opener situated on the can properly to open it. Half the time the cutting blade mechanism falls off repeatedly before I manage to get it to pierce the lid and start cutting. The other half of the time I just give up and pull out the old manual opener.Obviously, there’s some trick to making it work easily that I haven’t figured out. But here’s my point. Who has time to mess with a can opener learning the “trick” to getting it to open the first time I try? I feel this is a design flaw that HB product managers must work on.

Love it!
I’ve been struggling with can openers all of 2023. My old electric one became dull and was a struggle to use. I’m old and my hand-held one is impossible for me to crank. So I got a battery operated one. I was excited about it. It was a little slow but it worked… Until it didn’t. Two – three months later, it broke and was impossible to use. So I ordered a different battery operated opener….. It’s been terrible!! A struggle to get it to rotate around the can and it didn’t open the can at all! Instead of breaking down and getting another electric, I decided to give this rechargeable one a try….. And I love it!! It’s easy to operate. Can even use it one-handed. And it’s fast!! I don’t have to sit there waiting for the opener to circle around the can, or struggle with it to even work. The blade comes off so it can be washed. You do have to be careful because the lid has sharp edges. This opener is golden! If you have arthritis in your hands (and even if you don’t), this opener is a gem.

This is a solid purchase and a must have for anyone in the kitchen…I ordered one for a friend after purchasing one for myself…opened over a 100 different cans so far and haven’t recharged yet…just insane…it’s quick too and self-balancing so you can hands-free it…small…size of a hockey puck…magnetic catch for the cut-out and nice inlay cutting prevents unsafe edges for handling…solid construction and geared low for results every time…no gimmicks or strings unlike cheaper versions…you’ll get 10-15 years out of this easily and perhaps longer if you are easy on tools and take care of it.

Funciona bastante bien.

This is a fantastic can opener. It was expensive but I fine well worth it.. I have only had it for a short time. It is small fits in the cupboard and you charge has you need it but a charge lasts a long time. It takes practice to get it right to put on where it needs to be but after a few times it is a peace of cake.
