Fantastic, reasonably-priced plug-in glass kettle
This reasonably-priced plug-in glass kettle is fabulous! It’s easy to use, the water heats up quickly, and the automatic shut-off feature is a lifesaver. I also like the way the plug stays in the base, so it’s not attached to the kettle when you pour the water. My only issue is that after it’s poured, the water can be hotter than it is with a traditional metal stovetop kettle. So this glass kettle needs to be used with much caution. All things considered, I give this kettle five out of five stars!

I used a friend’s kettle, one very much like this one, and loved it, but this one? Yes, I love it even more! I’m amazed at how quickly the water is heated- I can’t even get my cup of coffee water-ready before I hear the water already boiling! Also, the LED lights the automatic shut off geature, and the fact that the only “hot spot” is the water itself- not the base of the kettle, nor the kettle’s base receptacle that’s plugged in- which makes this device safe to touch/support it with two hands and also makes it safe to place it directly on any stable surface without worry of scorching- thus making this device a 5-star appliance, a 5-star purchase, as well as a 5-star investment. This time-saving and safe appliance is tied for first place with my ice maker, as being my all-time favorite; I’d say it holds 1st place alone, but i love and need my ice maker just as much, although it’s no where near as easy to clean or maintain.

A solid, all-around electric kettle
I bought this for my mom, who just needed a way to make a quick cup of Lipton without having to put a pot on the stove (and she doesn’t have a microwave). This fits the bill perfectly! It doesn’t take up much space, it boils water (no remperature controls – just boils) quickly, and the auto shut off feature is great. I also like the blue lights in it that glow while the kettle is working and shut off when it stops. A good visual indicator, and it also looks really cool – try making tea in a dark kitchen and you’ll see what I mean!This kettle also was very reasonably priced, and the iridescent glass makes it look a bit fancier than a “plain” glass kettle. All in all, a great purchase!

I am obsessed with the irridescent glass look, and I was thrilled when I found this. I noticed it had a lot of bad reviews so I almost didn’t, but I am glad I did!!Yes, it does wobble on the base, which is weird. Why the company didn’t address this in manufacturing is beyond me, but it doesn’t really affect the functionality.I also don’t like the plastic on the lid, and it is a bit tricky to open and pour from because sometimes it burns your hand.But I look at the beauty of it and it makes it all worth it. Also it heats up fast! If Hamilton Beach would fix it up a bit, address there issues and make a new model with a colored silicone handle that is more comfortable a d easier to pour from id be first in line to buy again!

So good I have two one for home and one for work
It saves a lot of time at home and work. Heating water for cooking in the kettle is one of my favorite things about it. Being able to have hot water for tea at work in less than a minute is a game changer. One minute is sometimes all I have between calls and patients. Being able to carry the kettle to different locations than the plug in is very helpful.

This kettle works as described and in the 10 months since I have had it shows no issues. Make sure the lid is completely closed or the automatic shut off wouldn’t work. I just noticed my toaster oven is also Hamilton Beach and that one has been working for a long time with no issues and I recommend both.

Solid, reliable, easy to clean, but I don’t like the lid
I’ve had this about a year now and I make tea or hot chocolate almost every day, sometimes multiple times a day. So I have quite a bit of experience with this kettle.Generally, I’m pretty happy with it. It’s easy to use, quick, reliable, and fairly easy to clean. The water heats up fast. It works first time, every time with daily use. I can fit my fat paws inside to clean it out and we have hard water here, so cleaning it regularly is key.My one mild/minor complaint is the lid. I burn my hand regularly trying to get it open. It gets very hot of course. When you press the button to open the lid, it only opens maybe 20 or 30 degrees, not the full 90 degrees. Trying to grab the lid to open it fully will burn my hand. So I use the edge of a spoon or something else to pop the lid open the rest of the way. I’ve seen other kettles that fully open the lid with the button. I think I’d look for that feature next time.That said, I’d buy this again because it does what it’s supposed to do fairly well.

Buena calentadora de agua, fácil de usar y calienta el agua en minutos y se apaga automáticamente al hervirla. Asi que si la dejas desatendida no hay problema porque se apaga por si sola, solo asegúrense de cerrar bien la tapa porque de lo contrario veran que no se apaga porque parece que necesita acumular presion de algun modo al hervir para apagarse. Ha sucedido que algunas veces hierve por tiempo que parece extendido y me he dado cuenta que no cerraron bien la tapa y en cuando la cierro bien en un momento ya se apaga.

It takes so much time to boil the water if it is full, unfortunately I throughout the box otherwise I would return it also the lid is not made of a good material. This brand should be betterthan that. disappointed!
