These tongs are handy, sturdy and cleverly made. They have a lock on them to keep them closed when not in use so they take up less room in my drawer, and they have an eye on them so you can hang them if you want.

I got two of the 17″tongs, one for cooking and taking food items off the back of the grill when cooking. I also use it to grab something light off a tall and deep shelf when I can’t reach the items.
