Most useful pan you’ll buy
This is a chef’s pan or a saucier. It has rounded sides, which means you can stir your sauces with a spatula easily and not have any part of your sauce burn. However, this pan is just as useful for making pasta, especially at the end when you’re mixing the noodles with the sauce. The high walls mean you can easily flip the pasta and aerate everything without making a mess.The bottom is just large enough that you can cook a steak, and the high walls and rounded edges mean you will limit splatter. This pan doesn’t necessarily replace a cast iron for searing, but if you just want to prepare some meat without having to worry about clean up, this will do the trick.It has a lid. The pan is fully clad stainless steel and heat distribution is solid. Everything has a high quality feel. The handle has a silicone grip which keeps it cool and comfortable, though you can’t put it in the oven above 400 degrees Fahrenheit. But why would you do that anyway?If you’re worried about food sticking, just preheat the pan for a couple of minutes, pour in some oil, and food will release just fine. Don’t worry about stickiness – this pan will last you a lifetime if you treat it right. I’ve had no issues with warping either.If you can’t tell, this pan is incredibly useful and the quality is very high. The amount you will pay for it is a bargain compared to other sauciers on the market. If you’re looking for a chef’s pan that can do just about anything, or you need something to specialize in making sauces or pasta, you’ve just found it.

Very versaitile
I think this is one of my best purchases ever. This pan is heavy enough to heat evenly but not so heavy that you can’t move it around on the stove or do a quick flip with the handle to turn vegetables. You can saute in it as well as make a soup because of the tall sides and the lid.It feels sturdy and the handle is very secure if not a little thin for someone with larger hands. I also found it easy to clean. A definite keeper.

I love the pan, but it came with scratches all over the bottom of the inside, like it was used before. Too much of a hassle to return it. I’m sure they know that.

My partner’s new favorite pan!! Practical kitchen workhorse
My partner has another similarly shaped chef’s pan that he LOVES (seriously, he calls it his “favorite pan”). BUT it’s made of traditional nonstick (PTFE), which I don’t love.This stainless steel pan from Bobby Flay and GreenPan is the perfect nontoxic replacement. It’s deep — perfect for his stir-fries and pasta. It sears really nicely and I love the sleek look. The straight, slender handle is rather elegant, with a comfortable grip. The Bobby Flay “BF” logo is understated. The helper handle on the size is also handy. Love that it comes with a glass lid for visibility!(P.S. Please make a larger 5qt version!! I will buy it!)

Incredible Cookware!!!
I was able to get my hands on Bobby Flay’s new Chefs Pan and I could not be more pleased with it. I made some mashed potatoes with this pan, and its durability was impressive. The handle was comfortable and the fact that I can use my metal utensils without damaging the pan is great! Best part about this pan is that it is easy to clean, and I could even throw it in the dishwasher. Highly recommend this for anyone!

Pan arrived in used condition
Pan is great but it arrived in apparently used condition. Scratches to interior bottom of pot as if caused by stirring or abrasive cleaning. More scratches on bottom of pan where it would sit on burner.Not expected from a BOBBY FLAY branded item.

There are circular marks in bottom of pan, like someone may have used an electric mixer in it, then sent it back.Will not hurt anything in cooking, too much hassle to return!
