Sturdy kitchen staple — hello stew season!
A classic enameled cast iron Dutch oven – super sturdy, browns beautifully, and itâs a great size for big batches of chili, stew, etc! The color is SO gorgeous in the sunlight (itâs more of a deep navy blue in the shade). Love that the interior is a cream color (unlike my other Dutch oven which has a black interior) so itâs easy to see and keep track of the browning at the bottom of the pot. The lid has spikes, which makes it self-basting. Handles are nice and wide, easy to grip. Itâs beautiful AND fun to cook in â and cleans like a dream! Hoping this will last a lifetime — so far so good!

This is my first Dutch Oven and I have immediately fallen in love. This Bobby Flay x GreenPan collab is just what was needed heading into the cold weather. This dutch oven is large in size, making it great for those one pot meals. You can tell this dutch oven is high quality and it is also very easy to clean.

Sturdy kitchen essential!!
I love this!! Perfect for making a focaccia loaf to use for sandwiches or just charcuterie! The bread and paper didnât stick to the sides or bottom at all and came right out.So excited to make a sour dough in this next or try to make a stew and slow cook it on the stove top.The color is beautiful and didnât darken or stain after being in the oven. Looks so nice out on my stove when not in use I will likely use it as a bread box to store any bread I make in it!

High Quality, But…
I’ve only gotten more comfortable with cooking meals within the past couple of years. I ordered this dutch oven because I did not have any cast iron cookware in my arsenal and thought it would be useful to have something for when the need arises. The fact that this dutch oven is coated in ceramic makes it an instant win for me.This bad boy is huge and heavy…definitely not ideal for anyone who may have strength challenges. I don’t fall within that category, but even I found it a bit challenging/cumbersome to drain fat out of it while prepping a large batch of chili.The dutch oven has a nice smooth coating on its exterior…even on its base. Other pots and pans that I own have a metal plate on their base, but this dutch oven has no such feature (probably for the fact that it’s already made of cast iron). The same finish you see on the lid and on the side of the dutch oven is the exact same finish that is on its base. I actually like the look of this, but it has a downside.The handles of the dutch oven do get hot, even when used on the stove. This is made clear in a couple places either on the box or on the instructions (I believe it was both places). Be warned that you are going to keep an oven mitt or a kitchen towel nearby, especially so if your stove is glass topped. While cooking a large batch of chili, the smooth surface on the base kept causing the dutch oven to spin and shift around on my glass stovetop. I had to hold one of the handles while wearing an oven mitt just to keep the dutch oven in place ever time I needed to stir everything.However, because this bad boy is made of cast iron, it certainly does retain heat extremely well. After I removed the batch of chili from the burner, the dutch oven was still very warm over an hour later.Clean up was easy in the sense that nothing was stuck on, but maneuvering the whole thing in the sink was its own challenge due to its size and its weight. And for anyone who may have been wondering, the instructions that are included explicitly state that the dutch oven is NOT dishwasher safe.

Was in need of replacing an old Lodge Dutch oven and was so excited when my new Bobby Flay Dutch oven arrived! The white enameled exterior looks beautiful on my stove top. Perfect for Fall / Winter stews, pasta sauce, short ribs and so much more. Heated up quickly and evenly! Easily cleaned it with some soap and hot water.
