I saw reviews that said that these pans are not compatible with induction ranges. They are compatible. I understand that reviewers can disagree on opinions about features and performance, but this is a question of fact. Do they work? They do work. No opinion involved. So I don’t understand why some people would simply say they don’t. I did get a kick about the pan boiling instead of sautéing or browning. Boiling is cooking food immersed in water, while sautéing involves cooking food in a small amount of oil. Sure, it is a problem if you don’t get the oil hot enough. But the result in not boiling.They are good looking cookware. I have been using them for eggs, pancakes and bacon. I stopped making omelets years ago because I could never get them folded right. I always just ended up making scrambled eggs. With the GreenPans I am back to making omelets. I had to go to the market just to pick up more eggs and some omelet fixins.They are non-stick and easy to clean. I will not say how long they will last, but I am taking care of them. Preheat for 90 seconds and then add some oil or margarine. I use only plastic, wood or silicone. I clean them as soon as they cool with soapy water and a sponge. It has only been a couple of weeks, but I will see how they last. As of now, they are great. They look great and they work great.

First of all, I’m just an ordinary guy using these saucepans a few times a week. So far, they have performed well. I use wooden utensils when stirring so as not to scratch the surface. Food doesn’t stick and comes out of the pan easily. Cleanup is simple. I’ll know more in a few months about how well the surface lasts.

Fine. Handles get hot and lid seal is poor
Three lining material is revolutionary. Go buy the green pan. None of these have scratched for me yet even though they occasionally get silverware thrown on them in the sink. The problem with these pots, which the pan does not suffer from, are several-fold:1) the handles conduct heart from the outside of the pot. This isn’t spillover heat from a traditional burner, it’s conduction. There is no protective cover on the handles, so if you boil water you need to be careful not to burn yourself removing the pot from the heat. That’s bad design.2) the matching lids have an almost perfect seal to the pot. That sounds good on paper, but I’m real life this creates an annoying scenario where steam inside the pot has nowhere to go, so it will build up pressure until it can push the lid off. This turns into a quick cycle of pressure release and build up that sounds like a rattle at first, but can actually resonate like a humming gasoline engine at high rpm. This could have been mitigated so many ways: – some pots have little spouts. You rarely need the precision of pouring that this provides, but it is a small outlet for steam – some lids have a little steam hole in the top to release at a certain pressureAll in all, will not buy again. But also these will probably last my lifetime, so I’m stuck finding ways to fix the design like getting sleeves for the handles and finding alternative lids that fit and don’t rattle.
