Great product, great price
Have been looking for a 2Q saucepan for a while that was good quality but wouldnât break the bank. This one hits both marks. On top of this it looks chic on my counter and is shockingly easy to clean (even with rice). It says dishwasher safe but Iâve just been hand washing it because itâs that easy and Iâve been using it with such frequency. Couldnât be happier. 10/10

Good Quality, Longevity / Washing Method is Uncertain
These 2 quart pans are good to have on hand as they provide enough capacity for smaller jobs without having to get out your 4 or 5 quart saucepans. This one from GreenLife has a solid lid, no steam vent or pour spouts, so when you need a tight-fitting lid for a small batch of rice or similar, this works well for those tasks. The pan heats up a little bit slow, but once at heat it maintains the temperature quite well.Okay, now for the potential deal-breaker. The pan is listed as being dishwasher safe, and the provided booklet does state that you can place it in the dishwasher. However, there are several places in that same booklet, and also including a sticker on the inside bottom of the pan, that says to hand wash the pan. So, which is it? Yes, hand washing is gentler and probably the better option. I have several good quality non-stick pans – sauté pans and saucepans – that I have placed in the dishwasher and they’ve lasted for years. Will this saucepan perform the same? So far, I’ve had limited use with it and have hand washed it all except once when I used the dishwasher. It looked okay after that washing, and it cooked well (rice) without any sticking. The big question is how will it hold up over time if you do decide to use the dishwasher either exclusively or more frequently than hand washing. Since you won’t be able to tell until you’ve used the pan for a long enough period, perhaps several months or even a year or more, there is certainly an element of risk involved, and you’ll have to decide for yourself if this $30+ saucepan is worth that risk, or until enough time has passed and there are reviews that can speak to the longevity of this pan when dishwashed on a regular basis. Roll the dice.

Good quality but not induction compatible
Our older non-stick pans are losing their non-stick ability so I’ve been trying to find a new set that I like and when I saw the chance to pick this one up from Vine, I thought it would be a good chance to test the brand. The item came safely packaged in a sturdy box so there were no blemishes on the pan. The pan is relatively light but still plenty sturdy and up to the task. The handle is flat, with a nice silicone cover to keep you from getting burned. We have an induction cooktop. Though it does say in the description that it is not induction compatible, I clearly didn’t read that before ordering. I can only blame myself since it is stated so I won’t let this review be affected but be aware of this for yourself. Â Additionally, as such, I can’t say how well it actually works on my stovetop. It is oven safe I may still use it there, but I don’t often have need for putting this type of pan in the oven.Assuming you don’t have an induction cooktop, it seems like this pan should work well. It is attractive and easy to handle. Well sized for many cooking tasks.
