Sturdy, easy to mount, holds well
Installed this on the side of my Blackstone griddle to hold spatula, tongs, etc. I used rivets instead of the provided screws to mount the steel plate to the side of the grill hood. The bar then goes vertical when I raise the grill hood. Holds my spatula, knife, and tongs firmly, but they release easily when I need them because of the rounded edge. Magnetic bar can be easily removed to clean when needed.Nice product, performs as advertised, great price for what you get. Highly recommended.

Works great! I live near the Gulf of Mexico or Gulf of America or whatever itâs called now, and had this for a while. No rust, and is holding strong. Even during that random snow storm we just had. Yeah, snow in Florida who would have thought. The holder held. Itâs a great addition to any fish cleaning table!

Heavy Duty knife magnet.
This Gorilla Knife magnet is heavy duty for sure. I rated as four stars only because I notice that in a couple areas the magnet does not seem to be as strong as in other areas. So in this case I strategically placed larger blades where magnet was stronger. It is a hefty item and very easy to install and keep clean. I tried three others that I was not happy with and the fourth one was this one and I am happy with this. Please note when installing magnet to face plate, BE VERY CAREFUL as you can pinch your fingertips, as the magnets will take over. Enjoy!

This is the 3rd brand of magnetic knife strip I’ve tried out in the past month. The first two had wimpy magnets that could barely hold a fork, and one had a fake hardwood cover that is already wearing around the edges after barely 3 weeks of use.The 3rd time’s the charm, though: THIS one is a keeper.* First and foremost, nice strong magnet that holds even my largest chef’s knife securely.* Nice seamless stainless steel surface, easy to keep clean and sanitize.* Simplest mounting of any knife strip I’ve seen. You attach the metal plate to the wall with two screws, and the magnet sticks to the plate, and it’s ready for use.No worrying about locating screws properly to fit in keyhole slots, or hoping double-stick tape won’t let loose and drop your expensive knives into the sink.This is a great knife strip and I will likely buy a couple more in different lengths, for other applications. I can see using one of these in the shop, to hold a set of nut-drivers, or screwdrivers.

Very nice magnetic knife holder. Bought the 12″ version and works great. Mounting solution is great, but does require a drill if you want to properly install onto drywall. You need to drill the correct sized pilot holes for drywall anchors. Double sided tape (not included) could be used, but the magnet is so strong, it’d probably rip the tape off the wall should you need to remove the main part from the mounting plate for whatever reason.The separate mounting plate design does have an advantage. Longer knives tend to swivel around a bit on the holder depending on its weight. You can pull the magnet mount off the mounting plate, wrap a paper towel around it, and put it back onto the mounting plate. The paper towel will give enough friction between your knife and the holder to keep it locked in place. On a white wall, it doesn’t look too bad either.

One of my best buys in 2024. It’s easy to organise and maintain. No clutter. It can easily hold 10 knives. By using box/trays/knives holder, you have to clean them regularly. This product is also very easy to clean. Magent is of good quality. It comes with a sticker, no need to drill holes. Worth buying.

I bought this to replace an Ikea magnetic knife strip that didnât have enough magnets in it and would make smaller knives stick at weird angles. Not a problem with this Gorilla strip – it looks like itâs one solid magnet and itâs strong as hell.I didnât want to drill into my tiles so I attached it to the wall using double-sided Gorilla Tape. It sits beautifully flush.
