Elegant, Classy, and Electric
This is a great kettle that can be placed anywhere as it doesn’t require a kitchen stove. The water inside heats up so quickly and is hot enough to brew my tea in the morning. I actually placed this kettle in my room for easy access for when I am getting ready in the morning for work and don’t want to go into my kitchen. I like this more than my Keurig. I love the gooseneck sprout that adds a sense of elegance. I also like that there is an auto shut-off mechanism. Although a great product, I’m unsure if it’s worth $70… I suggest more like 50 bucks instead. Take note, I believe there is a coupon for this item that takes about 15-16 dollars off.

Works great for me, albeit with some cosmetic dislikes
Cute kettle and works great for the price. As for function, itâs great. The kettle sits on the base. The base unit controls the temperature, hold time, and whether the degrees are in Celsius or Fahrenheit. If you read the directions to understand long/short press and dial functions, itâs easy enough to operate and make adjustments as desired. The base unit itself is a super shiny plastic, so it picks up fingerprints pretty easily. The kettle itself is shaped really nice, and the thin spout is great for making pour-over coffee. Itâs made of metal with a matte black finish on the outside. There are a few critiques, though. One, the tip of the spout seems like it was just sawed off and not refined or polished afterward because the tip is very sharp. Second, the plastic handle is tack welded on, which makes me a little nervous when the pitcher is full. It would be nice if it were more integrated and if the handle and lid button were made of real wood, rather than wood-looking plastic. All in all, though, it does what itâs supposed to do, and it works great!

Fast, accurate temperatures and attractive.
I will admit I really did not notice the imitation wood accents on the base, lid and handle that the pictures don’t do justice in showing how attractive this kettle is. I got this kettle for my daughter’s visits as she is into different teas that are best brewed at different temperatures. This kettle quickly brought two cups of water to 212°F unless than 3 minutes. When selecting different temperatures I found the settings on the kettle base to be accurate within a degree or two across the selectable range. I wasn’t sure about the narrow goose neck stem but it pours easily without making a mess. This is an easy to use appliance with easy to use controls. I particularly like the audible alert that notifies when the selected temperature is reached. It also has a hold temperature button which is also quite useful. While the ad indicates it has a one liter capacity it works best with about half that amount. This is particularly true at the highest temperatures where it took about 15 minutes to get near to 212°F where it took a fifth of that time to do a half liter. I also found it more challenging than a lot of the European kettles I have used to sit the kettle on the base but I think a bit of practice that will become a non issue. All in all, I really like this kettle.

Stylish and Feature Filled
The Gooseneck Electric Kettle, Intelligent Temperature Control, Stainless Steel Inner is a welcome addition to my countertop appliance collection. The matte black finish does not fingerprint easily. The pour spout takes water from the very bottom of the kettle, and decants at a moderate rate so that you can fill your cup or pour over device without fear of a sudden heavy gush of water. The product description says it holds 1 liter of water, but I measured up to the fill line and it’s more like 900ml. Offhand I’d say about 3.8 cups of water. I really like the beautiful wood handle and lid knob. the lid is vented with 3 slits to exhaust heat, so you will not be burnt when you open the lid by a release of steam.The base controls are not especially intuitive, but after a few uses it’s easy. I love that I can choose the exact heating temperature, and that the display gives me a real time measurement of the water temperature. The water heats in just a few minutes! It has a convenient hold feature that allows me to keep the water hot for a length of time that I determine at the temperature I choose.This item would be especially useful in one person households. Otherwise you would have to refill it multiple times through the day.It’s pretty, well balanced in the hand, easy to clean. Recommended.

Love this kettle!
I love the design of this electric tea kettle. It is of a great quality, heats up swiftly, works well and is so pretty and elegant. I love the “wooden” knob and handle features. I like the heat settings options and speed that it heats up. I am so pleased with my order of this tea kettle. (Pictures to follow soon)

I replaced a larger electric kettle with this – I really only need it for tea or pourover coffee, so the smaller size is nice. The materials are nice and it is easy to use. It looks nice on my counter. I tested the temp on three occasions using different temps and it was accurate.The main drawback I see is the cost. There are several units that looks similar for much lower prices. The footrprint of it, also, is a bit larger than I’d prefer. My larger kettle took up less space, I think. For my counter, that isn’t an issue, but for some people it might be.

Overall, an Okay Kettle
This kettle was boxed very nicely and it also performed pretty much as expected. However, it found that when I filled it to the max line and set the temperature to 212° F, some of the water would spew out from the spout. Not much but just enough to be a little bothersome. And I had to wipe it up. At only 1000W rating, it was slower than I would have liked to come to a full boil.The only other issue was a subjective one. For the price of US $90.00 I would have expected the handle and lid pull to be real woodâmaple or other wood. But it was a fake version of a wood. And a bad fake at that. If I had to say the other main reason I decided to return the kettle, it would be this. Fake wood lookalike and bubbling water coming out of the spout was not satisfactory. It seemed to me that I did NOT get what I paid for.
